Let me tell you what happened to me when i first got my mob
1. opera is installed in the phone correctly(not executed yet)
2. when executing opera mini for the first time,an installation process begins
the first quarter: no data sent
second quarter: some data sent
third quarter: data stopped transfering and tells cannot connect and stops installing
is this what happens to you and those who cannot use itLast edited by Nayar; 04-14-2008 at 04:28 AM.

@gdixith
are you installing opera from wap or are you using motomidman???
any way Airtel Live is a limited service (gokhale and i have mentioned it earlier)
in kerala airtel live is freely activated. and we have to keep min 50 rs bal and then a small amount is charged as we browse.
as for the other service MobileOffice is charged @ 274/month allows unlimited usage.
i have two phones one have airtel live and other have mobile office. i was never able to use anything other than inbuilt browser in the airtel live phoneLast edited by ktm_kannan; 04-15-2008 at 12:39 AM.

FINAL WORD
Instead of nagging hundreds of operators around the world, simply ask opera to allow it to run using WAP only in its forum. Do it by mass , your request will have a greater effect on them.

no use they are offering other services along with this..
so why should they allow users of this to have privilages allowed in other services

Adding my few cents here ....
This thread is getting bigger and bigger..Just for your clarification..the problem does not lie in your phone... but in the networks of your mobile operator. They don't allow to use opera mini with the service you are opting ..
Just try BSNL gprs once ..if you have ne of the friends with tht connection.. Then you will get the difference ..
All d best.
not much active on M3 now

If the default browser is working & Opera mini isn't even after correct settings. None other than Default will work. Some L7 show this peculiar behavior.Don't know why
It has been discussed many times before. The problem lies with the phone. Its not the mistake of Service provider.
