Couple of iTunes Questions for my SLVR :)

Here are some of the problems I'm having right now after I modded my SLVR L7 with black iTunes that I downloaded with the guide provided by this site

1) Transfer of songs using MotoTunes is slow as hell.

Normally I would just set my phone into memory card mode, drag and drop mp3s into my audio folder in my memory drive. Takes like 10 seconds a song. This was before I used iTunes, and used the DAP.

I don't know if this is the first time or whatever, or if I have the wrong motoTunes version, but, I put in 6 songs into iTunes, the whole process took like 20 minutes to copy and "encode" them into my memory card. Now in the guide I used it said it should only take around 20 seconds a song, any idea why it's taking so long?
Do I HAVE to use motoTunes to put songs on my iTunes? Can't I drag and drop them into the folder like I used to? (The songs end up being in that folder anyways when I use motoTunes...)
I heard you can use regular iTunes to add songs to my phone?

2) Everytime I connect my phone to my computer via memory card mode (not data fax), my phone screen shows "iTunes do not disconnect", yet I'm not even on iTunes or uploading songs or ON motoTunes. I just wanted to add pictures ect. Is it safe to disconnect the phone even though it gives me this message? If it's not safe...how do I disconnect it safely?

3) I don't really like the shortcut method of activating iTunes, (Menu then pressing 5) - (It was set this way in the guide I used: http://slvr.themotoguide.com/itunes.php) I liked it how it was before when I had it as a left shortcut key (you know the 2 keys beside the menu button)? The one that shows on the main menu? Ex: [shortcut MENU anothershortcut] (left and right soft key)

Is there a way to open itunes using the button shortcut? I tried adding it via the phone but it doesn't list iTunes as a program u can set as a shortcut.

4) Is there a way to hide iTunes by pressing the END CALL key or something else? It's annoying to have to go through a couple of menus just to hide the iTunes

5) Does going through the list of songs seem a big laggy when you're playing music?

6) Right now I have the black itunes installed. If I want the white one, can I simply go into MotoMidMan, Click - Uninstall the Black iTunes, then reinstall the White iTunes? Or Do I have to redo the seem edit to make it as a shortcut?


If someone can answer these questions, I'll be all set to enjoy my SLVR! (And I can finally buy a 1gig TF card)!

1) u can drag-n-drop like u used to do b4. all u need to do is , after u finish adding songs to ur mp3 folder, start mototunes, click on 'Scan Mobile' , after that is done , click on 'Update Mobile' and ur done.

2)yes u can disconnect . dont worry abt the msg.

3) i dont know if dats possible.
4)just keep pressing the 'Back' button.

5) Sometimes itunes is a bit laggy.

6)the seem edit is not required. u can use motomidman.

What's the difference between "Vassio ITunes" and the black iTunes I downloaded from: http://slvr.themotoguide.com/itunes.php

vassio itunes has other corelets like media viewer and phone manager.

Oh ok. Does Vassio iTunes support album art as well? Because the one I have right now doesn't.

for number 6: you dont have to uninstall the black one to go back to the white. just click on the version you have installed on motomidman, then click install and select your new version. you will get a message that says something like "Warning: itunes is a cortlet, do you still want to replace?" you push yes and then it installs the new version over the old one. that worked fine for me anyway.
