Guide : Installing Dual Corelets

I deserve no credit for this noob guide of mine.. Its nothing new I've wirtten or discoverd .. .. I just gathered all the info from Yuet Blog and M3 itself.. Thanks to BullFrog!

I know Yuet already has a guide for this.. but I had to dig a lot to get MediaViewer .32 and iTunes working on my l7.. so I hope this makes it easier for other people..

1) Download MotoMidMan v0.62.1YEAR

2) Install MediaViewer v.32 using MotoMidMan in PHONE MEMORY!






3) Install iTunes using MotoMidMan (in PHONE MEMORY!) .. I used Bullfrog's valleo version of itunes (it is a modified version, and has the ishell plugin too) with 0 unloads, with * minimizes, and with # ishell opens.




4) Doulbe click on "MediaViewerApplet" in Motomidman and uncheck all the attributes (corelet). Do the same for iTunes.




They will look like:





5) Restart the phone. Go to the Games and Apps menu and create shortcuts for MediaViewerApplet (key 4) and iTunes (key 6).








6) Open MotoMidMan again.. double click on "MediaViewerApplet" and tick the "corelet" attribute. Do the same for iTunes. Apply.


7) [if not already done] Create a menu + 5 shortcut (for anything). Then Upload the 0002_0005 seem using P2K tools or watever u wish! :P .


8) Restart.


9) [Optional] Go to shortcuts menu and then rename the Key 5 shortcut as "Corelet".


The Final Shortcut menu would look like..


Done!

Now, to use MV.. just press menu + 5.. MV will fire up! It is so because its loaded automatically when the phone restarts.

To use iTunes... unload MediaViewer (by Menu->MediaViewer->Unload MV).. press menu + 4.. wait for a while 20-30 seconds.. and then hit menu + 5 again.. iTunes will start..

To use MV again.. unload iTunes (by pressing 0).. then hitting menu + 6.. waiting for 20-30 seconds.. and pressing menu + 5 again!

Keep Repeating! :P

Note: The corelet installed first loads automatically..

I tried to be as correct as possible.. feel free to correct me though!

if there is no shortcut in menu+5, then dosent pressing it'll give you a error saying, "no shortcut found" ,

well, i tried this, i can unload iTunes, & start Mv, but i'm not able to start iTunes again, by unloading the Mv

Yup.. it gives an error if the shortcut doesnt exists already.. corrected that above.. thanx!

After unloadinf the MV.. press menu+4 (d itunes shortcut..) wait for a while.. iTunes starts.. it wud be very slow.. press the red button.. and then press menu+5.. it starts again.. Atleast that whats worked for me..!

this thing worked for me. it just pisses me off because i can't wait too long to open another corelet.

using mediaviewer? yes i can view images. it worked for me, but it would be better if it is a modified iTunes combined with latest Mediaviewer as compared to dual corelet. the wait is long and that irritates me. sometimes i have to restart my phone to use another corelet.
