question about java ?

why do i need to install java apps with motomidman ? i can install them by the phone (menu - java apps - install new) and what are jad files for ???

yups..u can install it by phone..just put the jar file in folder kjava.. but using motomidman is more practice if u want instal lot of app/games..then u can set app attributes,save the app and more things.. jad is file information/describe jar files..this file is inform:

MIDlet-1: <Application name>, <icon path> , <midlet class>
MIDlet-Jar-Size: <Size in bytes>
MIDlet-Jar-URL: <Associated JAR file>
MIDlet-Name: <Application name>
MIDlet-Vendor: <Company>

some app/games is must install from jad and can't direct from jar files..n it recommended to install java from jad file
maybe someone else can description more than this...
