16GB MicroSD Anyone using it?

Found this on Ebay. I believe spec-wise it will work in the G1. But does anyone have first hand experience with these relatively new large microsd cards? Sandisk is a well known brand but I have yet to hear any reviews.

I am using that card. Works just fine. About 8 GB of music on it....first time through using it takes a while to read, but after that all is good.

I too am using the 16gb card and it's fantastic. nothing is quite as satisfying as telling a snobby iphone user that you too have 16gb of memory, AND you don't need itunes to put files on it!!!

I got a 16gig Sandisk card for Xmas and its been brilliant, no problems. Plenty of audio and video on it.

I also bought one off ebay for myself for xmas. Got it for under 55.00 shipped! Best buy wanted 100.00 before tax. Works great no problems putting more music on it as we speak

Plus you can bring several MicroSD cards with you, should you for some reason need more than 16 or 32 GB.

Guys i got the standard 2gb and to me when i click on the music etc, seems theres a delay, is that because of the card or the phone.

Asking because if i get a 16gb card i dont want it to be taking forever to refresh all the files.

If the music files are everywhere it might take some time to load them all everytime.. but if they are in a central folder the try restarting your phone (battery out) so it can properly build the music collection. If not then i would start blaming it on the card. Note though.. if your music files are large like High bit rate then that could cause it to run a tad bit slower if you ahve alot of music

I have the Sandisk one. Works great. I use the Andriod File Manager to access it. No lag at all.

lol i bought a 64 gb card once but got scammed.. it only held 1gb.. i guess it was hacked.. i remember doing tht with MP4 players.. lol, but i got scammed
