Bestskinsever Shield Review

I recently installed an "invisible shield" type protector on my G1 that I purchased from Bestskinsever and I wanted to give you a short review.

For those who havn't installed this type of protector before it can be very challenging. It comes in multiple pieces and getting the fitment "just right" is a must. There is no play in the size of the pieces and they are cut to fit. That being said, I have installed more of these things than I can remember on different devices and I've become accustomed to the install process. I won't get into the details of the install but I will say to take your time and don't be afraid to use enough of the water/soap combination.

As far as the fitment goes, it is absolutely perfect. There is virtually no exposed portions of the phone, except for the corners which needed to be tapered so they don't bubble up. Aside from that, BSE really did a nice job with the template for the G1. I've had it on for over a week and havn't had any problems with it peeling up. Another nice thing is it gives the phone a new glossy look. Some may not like it, but to me it makes it very appealing. The skin also provides a nice grip to the phone so it's not as easily dropped. That being said, it still slides in and out of your pocket without hanging up. For the 10 bucks I paid for it, I am pleased in how it protects the device. The G1 isn't a small phone to begin with so a thin protector was a must. I have taken some pictures to show how it looks on the phone. After taking them, I realized I should have polished it up a bit more but at least you'll get an idea of how it fits. Hope this helps!

I used the intellisheild and it was a pain to put on.. mine has alot of that white lint stuff.. i know its protected and the back looks good on mine, but It looked better when nothing was on it.. i think i might get a replacement front piece from the one you got it from cause the intellishield one is multiple parts around the screen.. and i dont like that....

I just got mine and I love it. I don't want my money back. Its not expensive at all and it was worth every penny.
