Weird Browser issue
so I was on UK RC8 and reverted and jailbroke it, then installed Blue Star 5 and now for some reason every time i open my browser it dies, not sure why.... tried going into the directory for the browser and it says it doesn't exist
cd /data/data/com.android.browser/cache
hrm.... any ideas?
The Application Browser (process com.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly, please try again.

try this:
cd /data/data/com.android.browser
see if it gets you an error. If you cant fix it, i recommend installing ASTRO from the market. it is an application that will backup all your programs to the SD card. Then you can do a factory reset and still have your programs on the SD card, but you will need to download ASTRO again and restore them to the phone. I will try to help you the best i can

I managed to fix it by updating to the RC8 1.3 v in the wiki, as oppose to the 1.2 version listed in another topic. Dunno what caused that.... Whats this cupcake thing i've heard so much about?
EDIT:
Ok I've just loaded another theme, an RC8 one the Trial By Fire, same problems, battery shows empty icon and browser just dies, if I reload a moded RC8 everythings fine....till i apply another theme,

quick thaught, could it be because I don't have the auto rotate browser installed?

i dont think so. i dont have it installed in my modded rc30. i think maybe its the themes?

I don't use web n walk anywho, just thinking that maybe if the majoraty of these skins are designed on RC30 they might have problems when pushed to RC8?

It's gota be the themes, i've tried each RC8 pack and always get the same problem, when I apply the themes,
