I'm an idiot. I bought a used T-Mobile (locked) G1 and it was working when I got it, locked but activated and working. I unlocked it without too much trouble. But I wanted to wipe the phone of all its data (I didn't want the guy's Facebook friends or his google search history which was very interesting) so I did a factory reset which (I'm new to cell phones) also deactivated it. I don't have a data plan so I wanted to activate it via wifi. I followed instructions found on this forum (downloaded rc29, formatted microsd card, etc) but the phone started hanging/freezing a few seconds after the numerous reboots (pretty random). I have to take the battery out to reboot it. But now, when I try to put rc30 or another rc29 on it, it says "No image file!" even though I'm using the same formatted microsd card which worked before. I tried reformatting the card and tried different rcs, but I'm stuck. Before I put this back up on eBay for parts, is there something else I should do?
