[Q] Theming notification bar

So I was trying to theme my notification bar, and change it to a dark green. I was able to get theme it successfully, or at least most of it. The sides fade to black. I can't figure out what files I need to change to make the notification bar stay one color.

I have a cliq 2, and I was editing SystemUI.apk if any of that makes a difference.

Did you use a PNG or a 9 patch? If its a 9 patch then the borders may be wrong. Try a regular PNG made to the standard width of the screen...
