    Question Upgrade G1

    Is it safe to upgrade my G1 from RC29 after i hacked my way through the activation screen? I used the guides from various websites to activate my G1 without a SIM card and i want to put newer firmware on it but i am not sure if it will break the activation.

    If you mean the whole account thing when you first install a new firmware then when running a custom firmware you can skip it
    You'll need to root and install a new recovery, Look in the G1 sections for a few guides on the whole process
