You're not hosed yet!
WAIT!!! First, did you backup everything? PDS files, full backup and a bootloader backup with flashbackup? If so, you can save your phone yourself very easily. Shop, indeed!
THIS IS NOT MY INSTRUCTION TUTORIAL BUT IT WORKS REALLY WELL!!! I've used this a few times and each time it worked as stated. It looks long and difficult but if you relax and take each step as directed, you're golden.
Tutorial V2 of How to Un-Brick your phone by MrBucket101
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If this doesnt work for you, go here http://www.motox.info/showthread.php?t=14891
IF you have made a full backup or a PDS backup of your cell phone PRIOR to bricking it then your phone is most definitely savable...given that you don't panic
I would first like to add that the steps provided here are the general solutions to fix a PDS IF YOU HAVE A BACKUP and may not work on every phone.
If you don't have a PDS Backup there may still be hope, click this link for details.
http://www.motox.info/showpost.php?p...&postcount=278 (Sorry if links aren't allowed, even to help someone out)
I have also noticed a lot of people making a PDS backup using Flash Backup, which is good, but they happened to make it improperly---see bottom of tutorial for steps on creating a proper backup---If you happen to be one of these ppl who forgot to check the disable compression box. Then there is a simple fix for this. Simply rename the .fbp extension to .cab. then use WinRar to extract the archive. Next rename the extension to .bin and delete the other un-needed file
Things you will need prior to undertaking in this revival guide
RFDI.shx (used to repair S Blank Neptune LTE or phones whos PDS is gone or corrupt)
DO NOT FLASH THIS TO YOUR PHONE IF IT IS WORKING
1.RFDI IMAGE.SHX
2.SHXCodec
3.R374_V3BL 07.D0.shx
4.Current Monster Pack (your choice)
5.Reflash file for firmware upgrade(not necessary but we might as well upgrade)
6a. PDS.bin
6b. Full Backup file---see step 3b for extraction method (only needed if you don’t have PDS.bin)
7. PDS.shx template
----Do not flash just the template, it will kill your phone if you don't have a PDS backup to restore. You must first insert "your" PDS into the template, then flash.
8. XVI32—used to extract the PDS from your full backup
9. RAMldr – this can be used to put the PDS.bin file back on to the phone, however though since I really don’t want ppl using this method as it causes more problems, im not going to provide a link. Find it yourself.
Here is everything you will need to recover your phone http://rapidshare.de/files/18268602/...k_Kit.rar.html
The main focus of this tutorial is the restoration of your cellphones PDS and im going to try and include all methods that I know of, however I highly recommend only using the following methods, FlashBackup (if it works) , or the PDS.shx creation method
STEPS:
1.Flash the RFDI image file to your phone
-----this image will install BL 07E0 in order to access the phone at any type of low-level (we need to) we will need to have BL 07D0 installed
2. Flash BL07D0
Right now you have a choice although I’m going to recommend you follow steps 3a and 4a as they are the most user friendly however if you want to you can skip to step 4b and restore your PDS.bin using RAMldr (not recommended)
3a-Extracting the PDS from a full backup---see step 3-b if you have a valid PDS.bin file
--- This is a relatively easy process that takes about 15-30 seconds (after you get used to it)
3a-1. open xvi32 and open up your fullbackup.bin file which should be 32MB
3a-2. first we need to make sure our settings are right. Goto Address>goto, Make sure there are dots inside the two radio buttons titled “absolute” and “hexadecimal”
3a-3. now select Address>Goto, and type the numbers “1FFFFFF” in the box and click ok
3a-4. go to edit>block mark
3a-5. go to address>goto, and type the numbers “20000” in the box and click ok
3a-6. go to edit>block mark
3a-7. go to edit>block delete
3a-9. go to address>goto and type the number “0” in the box and click ok
3a-10. go to edit>block mark
3a-11. go to address>goto and type the letters “FFFF” in the box and click ok
3a-12. go to edit>block mark
3a-13. go to edit>block delete
3a-14. Save your PDS and don’t forget to add the “.bin” extension
To check that your PDS is valid open it back up and look at the first three letters in the ASCII side of XVI32 if the first letters are PDS then its ok…also the file size should be 64kb
3-b. Creating a PDS.shx file
3b-1. Place your PDS backup file with the .bin extension in the PDS_Flash directory.
3b-2. Now open SHXCoDec 2.65 or later and press the SPLIT SOURCE SHX FILE.
3b-3. Locate the PDS_Flash folder and select the “R374_V3_PDS_template.shx” file then press OPEN,
the file will then be split into 2 files the RAM Downloader and CG6.
3b-4. Select/highlight the CG6 file of type PDS
with the address of start=10010000, end=1001FFFF, size=65,536
3b-5. Now choose REPLACE and change the files type to (Bin Files *.bin)
select your backup PDS.bin file in the PDS_Flash folder and press OPEN and then confirm replacement.
3b-6. Now press COMPILE SHX and enter a new file name for the PDS Flash backup.
Make sure to include the .shx extension on the end. Then press save, compiling begins, the process will be done when compiled.
NOTE: some ppl are getting a midas.dll error message when using shxcodec…to fix this go to the WINDOWS/system32>right click on regsvr32.exe and select “send to desktop (create shortcut), next drag and drop the midas.dll on top of the newly created shortcut and that should fix the problem
4a Flash your PDS.shx to your phone using RSD Lite 2.3 or higher
4b-Using RAMldr to restore the PDS.bin (not recommended)
4b-1. open ramldr and click send ramldr
4b-2. select ldr_pds.bin
4b-3. The log should now come up and say ADDR 03FD0000AD
JUMP 03FD0010AE
ACK JUMP,03FD0010
4b-4. In the base addr type “10010000” and in the entry addr type “10020000”
4b-5. The log should now say ACK Erase (this is where most ppl have problems as instead of ACK Erase they get a USB I/O error…sorry dunno how to fix it)
4b-6. type 10010000 in the base addr
4b-7. click on send binary and select your PDS.bin file
4b-8. The log should now say ADDR 1001000082
4b-9. press restart and you’re done
5. Flash a MP
I’m pretty sure this next process is not needed but i have heard rumors of PDS not working unless they had the same flex/firmware as before so lets not leave room to err and complete this last step with pride
6. Flash your phone with a reflash_mlp.shx
Hopefully your phone has been "Un-Bricked"
So now its time to sit back and have that &
How to create a proper PDS backup using Flash Backup 2.62
Using Flash Backup....

How to unlock your cell phones PDS via the PDS editor in Flash backup 2.62
-since your phone is bricked and you have nothing else to do why not unlock it? follow this guide and you'll end up with an unlocked PDS, problem is if you've already completed the guide you'll haveta restart all over at step 3-b your choice, i would also appreciate it if those of you having problems unlocking your cell phones PDS if you could not post about it in this thread, this is an Un-Bricking guide so i'd like to keep the questions and comments strictly related to Un-Bricking, if your stuck and want to try this method then make a new thread, I'd also like to add that this only works ab 80% of the time
1. make a copy of your PDS.bin file simply by right clicking on copy and paste
2. open the PDS.bin copy in Flash Backup 2.62's PDS editor
3. click on overview
4. look for a firmware that has the words RFDI in it somewhere, make note if there are two RFDI's or just one
5. click on the seem editor tab and do this for the following SEEMS 01C3-01C7
6. click on the SEEM 01c3
7. if there was only one RFDI in the overview then roll back the history to 0 by clicking on the arrows next to histroy
8. after rolling back the history to 0 simply click on the attribute pull down menu and re-select "normal" (there is glitch in the program which is why we have to re-select if u dont do this it wont work)
9. Repeat for SEEEMS 01C4-01C7
10. once you have edited all the necessary seems save your new PDS with a file name like R379_(your name)_unlocked_PDS.bin, that way you'll know what it is if you come back later
11. Follow the above guide from step 3-b or use FB to transfer the PDS (remember that if FB bricked your phone the first time dont use this method)
