latest firmware
Here's a few questions about the latest firmware for V3. First, If I upgrade to the latest firmware will it affect the MP I'm using now which is AP's premod for Tmob. The firmware on this is 10R. Next what is the benefit of the latest over 10R? And finally, I keep having problems with java apps closing as "application error" even when I know the app is compatible with a V3. Would the latest firmware possibly fix this prob? Thnx for any insight...I'm always out to learn more on modding!!:mmm:

The application error is most likely from the skin you are using. Put a different skin on and try then. See number one here.

The best firmware for your phone would be 17r, and no , it doesn't affect the MP. Don't upgrade your bootloader though, the new BL makes modding harder.

OK..i've got 2 diff firms.....17r_noRSA and 17R_noDRM...the no RSA came with AP's splashscreen tutorial (I never could get it to work) the other was from the many in the D/L sect. what would be the diff? And my BL is 7.D0. I thought with that BL there was no RSA?
