skiin problem

Hi I'm new here and i've already taken a t-mobile branded phone and unlocked it for cingular service and rebranded it for cingular. I was downloading some skins and when i put this MGD skin on the phone it now has locked up and will not respond. It comes on but the keypad will not work and the usb connection is not actinf like it will connect in p2k, p2k commander, flash and backup 3 or anything else for that matter. I am at a loss. how can i reflash the phone or do anything if it won't recognize ?

Have you tried starting the phone in bootloader mode and see if it will connect?

What did you use to put the skin on your phone?

the bootloader mode gives noresponse at all and i used ski man

you replaced the mma didnt you. you used a mma not intended for the V3 i bet.
try starting it with the sim card out. you might be able to connect to p2k and fix what you have done.

otherwise you'll need to start in bootloader mode, connect to rsd lite, and flash it

had to go rsd lite and reflash the thing. Got apristel's "got noob" to reflash. Thought it was appropriate for this time! Thanks for the help. Thought I had f'ed it up good. The one thing that has not changed is the * + # + power button does not put it in bootloader mode still. Is this going to be an issue at some point ?
