a downgradded my bootloader trying to unlock it but it didnt work ? Can some one assist me now it is asking me to contact my service provider,

^ Look in the V3 downloads section, flash the bootloader to ur mobile, and go to Google and download a program called P2k Easy Tools 3.7

Don't upgrade before you unlock, its easy with an old BL but with 08.23 you will have to downgrade again before unlock. Its all in the guides and if you use the search function of the forum, you'll see it has been spoken about before, once or twice, how to unlock a V3,

first you need to know the s/w and bootloader info of the phone.
next you need to install Moto Handset USB Drivers on PC, and locate two programs: RSDlite3.9 and p2k Easy Tools 3.9(cracked)
p2k easy tools will not work on Win7. you need XP or Vista.

to get your s/w and bootloader info you need to enter BL Mode.
to do this power phone off, hold * and # keys on keypad, press power and continue to hold * and # until info is displayed.
if screen remains blank, you need to run RSDlite3.9 and plug in phone to see the info (drivers must be installed on PC first)

download V3 BL 8.26 to 7.d0 downgrade
make sure you have all the handset drivers installed on your PC. you can find guides on how to do this thru Google.
un-rar the file and flash it using RSDlite3.9

this will downgrade the bootloader to 7.d0 and remove the securities for unlocking.
next all you need to do is run p2k Easy Tools3.9(cracked) plug in data cable and choose the following:

-select model V3 RAZR
-click "Locks" tab
-check box Unlock SP
-click Do selected Jobs

follow program instructions. thats it

p2k Easy Tools will not work in Win7. good luck
