Do I really need to wait 6-12 hrs??

Well Im currently trying to unlock a MotoRazr V3 (duh) from cingular/AT$T.
Wanting to use a T-mobile sim for it. I currently have the unlock code for it given to me by AT$T.

But when I instert a tmobile card into it, it tells me "Contact Service Provider"

And I ended up having to call AT$T to get the unlock code, and then had to call Motorolla for them to tell me that I gotta wait 6-12 hours for the prompt to come up.

So my question is. Is there a way to get the promt to come up faster??

Yes, you have to wait, or use an expensive box, called smartclip. It can take 40 minutes, or up to a few days. But 6 to 12 hours is average. Sorry.

well it came up, and works fine now.
Wont let us check the VM right now tho. Says password is incorrect.

Any good mods to do to these phones?
