Can't Repair PDS
Ok so I had a bricked V3 razr for quite awhile. I finally decided to try to fix it again.
It was recognized as S Blank on RSD Lite.
I searched and got it 100% in RSD Lite using the RFDI flash.
The phone was now S Flash Neptune LTE
I tried using P2k Tools v3.9 to do a full pds repair.
heres the output:
Connecting to phone...
Connected to "Motorola Flash"
Connected OK.
Bootloader version 07E0
Sending Loader to phone...
ERROR: Sending second loader (2)
ERROR: Send loader failed (1)
I tried flashing the ATT MP v2 using RSD Lite and it successfully flashed.
I tried repairing pds again and still the same output.
Current RSD Lite Phone Info:
Technology: N/A
Software Version: R374_G_0E.4030I_GNP0_11_RFDI
Flex Version: GMMV3xx000AA019_GNP0
Bootloader Version: V0X0007E0
DRM Version: N/A
Phone Type: Production (435807100E1009261CE000000000)
Any help would be appreciated,
and sorry for the long post.

You have to try again with the p2k ET program. Sometimes it is because you use a shared hub on the PC, or a Front USB Port, or a faulty cabhle, or a bad download of the cracked program. You definitely need to repair the PDS without error, otherwise the next flash will not take, and you are stuck with RFDI in the flex.

Sorry for the late reply, I just tried a different usb cable, used a different usb port and used p2k tools 3,7 and now I get a new error:
Connecting to phone...
Connected to "Motorola Flash"
Connected OK.
Bootloader version 07E0
Sending Loader to phone...
Loader sent OK
Repair PDS....
ERROR: Invalid SW
ERROR: Repair Failed
in p2k tools version 3.9 i still get the ERROR: Sending second loader(2) & ERROR: Send loader failed(1) errors
in p2k tools version 4.1 it says stuck @ "Sending Loader to phone..."
in p2k tools 5.3 it goes to Sending Loader to phone then a new pop-up comes up with an error: "Access violation at address 0049D979 in module 'P2K.exe'. Read of address 003FFFFDLast edited by ssj92; 01-01-2010 at 06:09 PM. Reason: tested other versions

try using p2k easy tools to flash a stock MP to the phone. in the first post it appears that the phone was powering off during the process. if you cannot get past this point, a TP may be the only option. lets try to get it running without doing TP first tho. stick with p2k easy 3.9 or 4.1 for now.

I downloaded the Stock MP from the downloads section and used Flash & Backup 3.0.7 to flash it to the phone. The phone had a white screen for 2-3 seconds after flash was complete but then shut off. It does the exact same thing it was doing before I flashed it, goes to bootloader mode when turned on, P2k easy tool 3.9 still gives the same ERROR: Sending second loader(2) & ERROR: Send loader failed(1) errors and P2k tools 4.1 just freezes at Sending the loader part.

A PDS repair is required to fix your phone as the RFDI flash contains a stock PDS image to get your phone out of S Blank Neptune LTE. I had this exact problem once where i was stuck on the RFDI image and no version of P2K ET or MSTOOL would work to fix it. I even testpointed the phone to try and repair PDS but it would fail sending the loader. However i was lucky enough to find an old PDS backup burried in my HDD which i could flash and after that the phone worked. From my previous experience im afraid your only option is to flash a PDS Backup (if any) or take it to a friend with a smart-clip or a similar box (Maybe even GOT_MOTO would work). I would be glad to be corrected if i am wrong though
You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

you are not entirely incorrect. this is a tough situation, however many repeated attempts should revive the phone. i think the GOT server has been down for some time too. that would be the simplest way tho

ssj92, have you tried flashing the MP using the flash function in p2k4.1?? sometimes this will work where RSD and F&B fail. The RFDI image will stick like glue, but it is not impossible to get past... takes time and patience.
lets try to exhaust all possibilities before moving on to Testpoint. On the bright side, if it does come to TP you will become very good at it because most likely TP will need to be done several times before being able to flash another MP.

My device is detected as S Flash Neptune LTE in RSD Lite.
I have a second RAZR V3 that works fine but has a cracked LCD(all black/some white, can't see anything)
Could I do a PDS backup of that phone and use it on the bricked RAZR?
I've tried to flash:
Motorola Stock Monster Pack
RFDI File
The RFDI file never works in any of the apps.
The Monster Pack file flashes in all three apps successfully, but the phone stays in the same state.
I don't really have the tools to disassemble the RAZR so if it does come to TP, I would rather just switch the lcd screens?

PDS is specific to each phone, so no a backup PDS from another v3 wont work. unfortunately the GOT server is no longer in service.
switching LCD screens requires the same tools. Torx screwdrivers #4,5, and 6
when you try pds repair, does it evere get to the point where the program asks to power phone on again??
it takes two steps with p2keasytools4.1 for PDS repair
this is how its supposed to look:
Connecting to phone ...
Connected to: 'Motorola Flash'
Connected OK
Bootloader version: 07D0
Sending loader to phone ...
Loader sent OK.
Write Repair Flash bootloader ...
Powering down...
(end of part one, then it asks to power phone back on)
Connecting to phone ...
Connected to: 'Motorola Flash'
Connected OK
Bootloader version: 0200
Sending repair loader to phone ...
Loader sent OK.
Write PDS part ...
Rebuild PDS area ...
Write Flash Bootloader ...
Powering down...
Repaired OK
(end of part two)Last edited by zedbra; 01-02-2010 at 09:07 PM.

in 4.1 it gets stuck at Sending Loader to phone…
in 3.9 the phone shuts off thats why it fails
in 3.7 it just fails because of the sw errorLast edited by ssj92; 01-02-2010 at 09:33 PM.

im out of ideas... its always easier when you have the phone in front of you. sometimes remote diagnostics is difficult.
my only suggestion at this point is to get a set of Torx screwdrivers and disassemble to do TP. i got a nice set here in the states @ Home Depot for $8. or go to a local Moto service centre.

Yeah, I'll probably just get the Torx 4 and Torx 5 screwdrivers because I already have a Torx 6. I'll try test point if I do first and if that doesn't work I can just switch the lcd screens. I had these RAZRs sitting here for like a whole year thats why I thought why not try fixing them lol.
Well thank you all for trying to help, it was actually fun trying to do this type of stuff again.
