2 flaked out new razr v3's - please help

Hi, i bought 2 new phones from Hong Kong on ebay and they both were flashed with the following MP

    R374_G_0E.42.17R_PDS005_LP0039_DRM0001_JPJAVA_G_0E _V3_01_10R_GSMV3XXT677GA193_1FF.shx

One phone dies when you close the lid, the other phone now has keys not working.

Could it be this image or just 2 bad phones?

Opinions please- T-Mobile US the carrier

On the second phone try the Keypad Fix flex, flash it with RSD Lite.
On the first one, there will be a faulty Ribbon through the hinge. Needs taking apart and checking.

Please do not kiss, or lick, the Monitor.

were you able to fix the one phone by flashing "keypadfix.hs"??

you could try cleaning the ribbon, but it may end up causing more damage to the phone if youre not careful. i agree with Dumba, buy a new flex cable. theyre pretty cheap HERE.

only RSDlite will flash the keypadfix.hs file. there are guides for "getting connected" to the PC and on flashing the v3. just do a search for "v3 getting connected"

flashing the keypadfixflex.hs should fix the button issue

definately backup the phone before flashing, then you can flash the T-Mo MP. Download Stock T-Mo MP HERE
