Got bored and pulled out the old V3..lol..Need some help tho

I know this is old stuff but I was wanting to have some fun..lol


First off I want to say that I know my way around a WinMo phione pretty well..Love my TP2

Anyway, I was going thru some old boxes and found my mom's old pink razr and decided to plug it up..Plugged it up and it work without flaws..lol

Booted in boot loader mode and saw I had 8.30(I think thats what it was..the one were you have to downgrade for unlock is the one I had) and I used bl_826-828_to_o7d0_forv3_by_Archy.V2.shx thru RSD Lite and it dropped my baseband down to 07D0.

I'm trying to unlock it(for fun) and just essentially hack and mod the ever loving crap out of it.

When I run P2k Easy Tool v37, it says debugger detected[97]??? Any help on that??

And I tried to use Scotty2 downgrader but it never would work, it always said waiting on phone and wouldn't budge..And yes I was in bootloader mode. I saw something about the connections not working right and I can manually delete the files in device manager with a .bat file(??) but only saw it for XP SP2..lol(I'm on 7x86)

Any suggestions would be cool..Thanks

Edit:Was wandering which version I have. It's branded Cingular and has V3(G 8/9/18/19) under the battery. I flashed with a few megapacks already(whats the order if I don't use them??) and am running apristel_premod_mp_v1...I think..I can't remember if thats it or not..If I'm not running it, I have put it on within the last 3 hours.

looks like a regular v3. its best to post the actual bootloader info here so we can tell for sure. Pink v3 might have 8.29 boolloader, which means your gonna need a TP to unlock and downgrade. try using p2k easy tools 3.9. its a bit better on the v3. also Win7 is tricky when modding the old p2k phones. make sure you have the latest handset drivers from MotoDev.

so youre in good shape. it is a regular v3 with downgraded bootloader 7.d0. if you need to unlock, find p2k easy tools 3.9 or 4.1. run RSDlite in the background. once the phone is detected in RSDlite run p2k easy and unlock SP.

anything else you wanna do should be in the guides. ie: funlights/clublights, custom 12 icon menu, custom carrier text(has bugs on ATT network), etc. etc.

Sweet..Thats some good news..lol

I ran the MotoUnlocker in boot loader mode and it said it unlocked...I don't have another carrier sim..Is there a way to tell if it's unlocked???


Edit: Found 3.9 and I get the same error as with 3.7..I've tried in XP mode as well as run as admin.

you may be able to check unlock status with a program called RadioComm.
Google "unlock v3xxr with radiocomm" look for guides that explain how to use program. when you check for status, it will read 00 if its unlocked, or 01 if it is not. Dunno if it works with old v3, but it should.
