Razr V3 g drains new battery after 3-4 hours on standby FIX??

New refurb Razr V3G won't hold a charge longer than 3-4 hours, even on standby. Blutooth off. Vibrator off. Switched battery with another Razr V3 phone which last for 4 days. Same thing, drain. Would a flash help with problem? Have drained battery completely 4 to 5 times and recharged over and over, but same thing. Phone is a new refurb, but been sitting for a year or two, the other phone works great. Would cost more to send in for repair than paid. Just throw it away? Thanks

Yes, that sounds like a Hardware issue. Sorry, but the repair will probably exceed the value of the phone.
