How to make ringtones louder

Download this:

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ (you want v1.25)

You may also want this, so you can export the edited ringtone in MP3 instead of WAV.

Steps

1. Open Audacity
2. Drag your 'not loud enough' ringtone into audacity:

3. On the left of Audacity, look for the gain slider, drag it up and click the play icon to see what it sounds like.

4. Then click File, and then Export as MP3 or as WAV, and send it to your phone.

Audacity is the best...... I use it since long. You can do stuff like changing the pitch of songs too..... Virtually anything.... Cut/paste, mix and all.....

Great guide, I was looking for this... Was wondering how to make my 'Someone Like me' louder It's great now.

it makes the song louder yeah but it also raises the bass in the song which ends up causing damge to your speaker in the long run so if you wanna raise the volume on the song u can but use a program such as virtual dj or another music program to lower the bass in the song your phone will play the song louder with a higher pitch giving it a good song all round
