help unlocking g1

hey i have a g1 that i had on tmobile when it first came out. i cut my service off not to long ago to the plan that i had on it. will the plan was off i locked the phone putting in the wrong pattern when it was in my pocket. now it asks for google account and pass to unlock the phone. but i cant do it cuz i have no service. now i have another tobile phone that works but when i put that sim card in i still have no service. what can i do to get into the phone so i can use it again and hopefully mod it. i would appreciate the help

Here, If you phone is stock, you can do a Soft or Hard reset, that should fix your phone.
