Will updating my Samsung Galaxy S re-enable the sim lock?
Hi,
I bought an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S model number GT-I9000M from a seller on ebay. The phone works fine (voice + data) in Canada.
It is currently running on the following:
Build number: FROYO.UGJL2
Baseband version: I9000UGJL2
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9 shout.lee@SEP-09 #3
I want to upgrade it to Gingerbread (Android 2.3) but I am afraid that it lock. Does anyone know if it will?

Unlock 2.2 and upgraded to 2.3... still unlocked.....!!!!
