Unlock blocked phone?
If i buy a blocked SGSII from ebay can i unlock it?
Not carrier lock but when it's totally blocked.

Remotely bricked? I've never heard of that term, but, if its same as a brick, download mode + odin?

That would be what is known as an IMEI block and there is no way around it.

Imei block, that's what i meant. I know it has been done over at XDA, on the SGS2 specifically. The guy who was doing it for £10 actually got too many requests so he stopped doing it. And it's legal here in Sweden. Originally Posted by Clarkey

IMEI #'s are individual of each device. IMEI being blocked will only lock the phone out of service from the carrier that blocked the IMEI, must find a different carrier.

I was talking to MotoMudder, What I mean is, when a carrier blocks a device over here it blocks it from all networks in Europe.

All samsucks can easily be imei altered with special sw boxes. Just visit a local cellphone shop.
