What the drivers have you installed??

i installed MSXML Parsera and .NET Framework 3.5. I also downloaded drivers from the LG tool. debugging was on and mass storage was off. I also made sure that i disabled the usb modem in device manager.

Thank you zdunex2 for helping restore my phone back to working condition.

I tried updating my phone from 1.6 to 2.1 using the LG Update tool, but it froze at 63%. I reset the LGUpater and guess what it cannot recognize my phone anymore and worst of all It seem to have bricked the phone. I mean I can't get past the LG Logo.

Fortunately i found your thread. Followed the instructions and successfully restored my bricked phone to 2.1.. I thank you

Now I was just wondering why i have these applications already installed in my phone.

And some applications i cannot read the characters.

Am i using Russian 2.1 ROM? I downloaded the Rom link on post #1. Is there somewhere where i can download English ROM with just plain 2.1 applications and no extras, if there is US ROM that would be great.

Yup it could be Russian one, cos Russia got update as the first country.
