Okay, sorry...
I think I've finally got it.
Install "msxml.msi", then run "KDZ_FW_UPD.exe". Select 3GQTC and DIAG from in the program, and open the "openpl.kdz" as well.
Make sure:
Turn off: anti-virus, firewall, internet, lg android modem and mass storage only
Turn on: usb debug mode
And then hit "Launch software update"
Once I see "Flash finished", exit the program.
Then I install the Android SDK.
Then put the phone in Fastboot, run the commands from the Command Prompt, and when the phone reboots, it's done?
I know you've spent a lot of time helping me, and I keep making mistakes, but I thank you so much for your help
Side question: if I do this through the Recovery method, using ClockworkMod, do I just follow your link, and place the "openpl.kdz" on the SD card and install from the menu of it?
Nevermind, after following some videos that use the Recovery method, I've done it now, and am running SwiftDroid - CyanogenMod 7 (2.3.3)
Thank you a millions times over for your patience and support

1) Yeah you phone will reboot when all will be done correctly.
SDK needs JRE & JDK (java components)
2) Yeah, because you need fastboot to install recovery, then you could use zip file to install ROM.
Oh am glad that you are on 2.3.3 congrats man ^^
And sorry for late reply.Z.d.u.n.e.X's Stuff: Personal Site | My skins | Android Stuff's

Can't you just install the apk via a filemanager?
