Query for Optimus ME P350
Any custom firmwares for LG Optimus ME P350 ... Current Firmware Version: 2.2.2 can't install any available custom firmwares cause apparently my phone needs a downgrade first and it won't downgrade. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I think you mean custom rom
Apparently because you upgraded to 2.2.2 instead of 2.2.1 your phone cannot be rooted using the old method and no one has found a way around it yet.

Hopefully but downgrades isn't a strong point for LG's. They seem to dislike it lol. But oh well i'll keep preying on M3 and hope for someone to send a miracle round hehe

Super One Click
Maybe another one as well but can't remember, it's been a while since I looked at his phone

Ok, the one click methods basically don't do the trick. Is there a custom recovery for the device yet?

Yeah there is, but there is no way to flash it. At least I don't think so

Ok, I did a little research and found they have AmonRA recovery available for the device, with install instructions.
But first, with gingerbreak, are you trying the apk or the SuperOneClick with the gingerbreak exploit? They both work differently. Can you post the process you used and the steps you took please and thanks!Remember to be respectful to others, this is a family-friendly forum.

I tried both, but they all crashed on rebooting device. And the apk just sat there saying "we will reboot when the process is done"

Are you rebooting or allowing the root process to reboot the device? If you use the apk its best to use a different sd card that has nothing on it and is at least 1 gb.

I'm allowing both of the processes to reboot the device it just never does. The program just crashes whereas it worked fine for other devices I have used it with. I'll try again with a different SD card though

Yeah, try again with another SD card. I sure would love to get my hands on one of those phones.
BTW, I moved this thread to LG Androids
