[Guide] RSA Removal Without Test Point
Here is the perfect procedure for RSA removal for the MOTOROLA SLVR L7i/L7e:
IMPORTANT:PLEASE CLICK AND READ THE THREAD LINKS THAT ARE POSTED AT THE END OF THIS POST, THIS WOULD BE HELPFUL IN REMOVING RSA.
*CHARGE YOUR PHONE FULLY BEFORE REMOVING RSA !
Credits:
*Osta for his tremendous work behind RSA removal and for his reflashes.
*Rhythm for his detailed steps for RSA removal and his FEEL THE RHYTHM MP (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=240281)
*Jay24 for his resources and the revised steps for RSA removal.
*Jaims009 for the Extremoto v1.0 MP(http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=425271) and help in my RSA removal.
Thank you guys...
What i did before RSA removal is (I don't know whether this really mattered or not !..but it worked for me)
*I flashed my phone with the Stock L7i MP
*removed the memory card.
*removed the SIM.
*charged the Phone fully.
Basic Requirements:
* Flash & Backup 3
* ramldr2: http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/atta...2&d=1202573431
*Ostas Reflash v2:http://www.mediafire.com/file/m2nmw5...71-l7e-l7i.rar
Steps for RSA removal(strictly follow all the steps with cautions):
1. Turn on your phone in Bootloader mode (*+# + PW)
2. Open new Ramldr2(the one which is there in the link above)...
3. RAMLDR2 must display that the phone is connected...
4. Press "Send Loader" button and RAMLDR2 must display "Ready".
5. Press "Set Blank irom 0300".
6. Then remove your battery and reinsert it.
(u can disconnect the Phone from USB before removing battery)
7. Run RAMLDR2. It must display that the phone is connected...
8. Press "Send Loader" button and RAMLDR2 must display "Ready".(if u r stuck after this step then do this:
just unplug the phone from the USB cable, put it inboot
mode then reinserted the cable back but instead of doing it all from step one, just hit "Send loader" then Ramldr2 will show "ready" then write the boot indicated in step nine).
9. Press "Write Boot" and select Boot_0AC0_patched.bin from file (its all there in the ramldr folder)
10. Press the power button, your phone will remain blank(no backlight), don't worry your phone is fine...
(disconnect the phone from USB)...
11.Now flash the Ostas Reflash v2.Flash it with F&B3 since RSD Lite won't work(wait for it to finish)...
12. Then remove your battery and reinsert it.(u can disconnect the phone from USB before removing battery even here...the phone will still remain blank after flashing...dont worry,u are going good !)
13. Run RAMLDR2. It must display that the phone is connected...
14. Press "Send Loader" button and RAMLDR2 must display "Ready"
15. Press "Write Boot" and select "Boot_Sw_Start.bin (Start_sw.bin)" from file...(its there in the ramldr folder)
16. Turn on your phone...and you're done !...
Congratzzz..u just removed the RSA Protection from your phone...
Flashing a RSA removed MP after RSA removal:
CAUTION:
*PLEASE FLASH THE APPROPRIATE BOOTLOADER BEFORE FLASHING THE RSA REMOVED MP TO UR PHONE, NOT DOING THIS MAY BRICK UR PHONE ! *PLEASE READ ABOUT THE BOOTLOADER VERSION IN THE MP RELEASE THREAD BEFORE FLASHING THAT MP TO UR PHONE ! ! !
*NEVER FLASH OSTAS REFLASH V3 BEFORE V2 ,V3 flash only after V2.
Here u have the option,u can go for FEEL THE RHYTHM MP by Rhythm or the Extremoto v1.0 MP by Jaims009 (the links are above or simply search in L7i/e thread)
I opted the latter MP....
Here is the Link for the Extremoto v1.0: http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=425271
Follow the steps listed there before flashing that MP.(links and resources are given in the post there)

please post it in http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=342021 also
one more thing to remember
NEVER FLASH OSTAS REFLASH V3 BEFORE V2 ,v3 flash only after V2
use rear side USB ports of PC for flashing never use USB HUB

Yeah, what happend?
When I got a "Critical error DEA1" (or somth'n like that) in part 8 of the procedure, I really thought I was screwed. But then I restarted my phone and I got it to boot loader mode so I (was kind of relieved there actually
) repeated the whole procedure 'ntill I got it right. So about your problem, I think you'll gonna have to do a hardware testpoint to your phone. Doing a hardware TP will also remove the RSA protection by-the-way.
