driver issue
i am trying to mod a new L7i for my friend. i read and followed the connection guide. with the drivers installed i plug in the phone and windows does its thing,but it doesnt seem to find the driver. any suggestions?

what OS are you using?have you installed it properly?

try running a p2k software. windows should detect your fone and will install a new set of drivers... (MCU data logger etc. etc.)

She meant OS as in "operating System"(pc: Windows XP, 2000,vista Mac= mac os x etc)

go to CONTROL PANEL click on SYSTEM

heh, or you can just remember which OS you have, its not like you need to be a techie to know that

i am using xp on my 'moto modding computer' but have vista on another computer if it helps

ok..if you have installed the drivers properly..it should detect your phone...heres a link to driver..try this...

okay. i downloaded the file from the provided link to my desktop. when i tried to open it, i got an error claiming the file is corrupt.
