Question Microsoft Outlook meeting requests (Hotmail)

    Hi,

I currently have a BlackBerry Bold 9000 and use it with my Hotmail account together with the Hotmail Outlook connector. I'm now considering moving over to an Android phone such as a HTC Desire / Desire HD / Desire Z.

Can someone please kindly clarify if I would be able to accept Outlook meeting requests sent from my laptop to the HTC?

For example: let's say that I have a dental appointment and I want to add it to my calendar. Currently I send a meeting request to myself from my Microsoft Outlook (Hotmail) and it appears in my Outlook InBox and also gets delivered as an email meeting request to my BlackBerry.

From my BlackBerry handset I then open the mail and accept the meeting request which gets added to my BlackBerry calendar.

Could I do this with an HTC/Android phone?

Does the HTC/Android phone support true "push email"?

Many thanks for any kind advice or guidance

Android does support push email. Have no idea about the meeting request thing, I dont believe that it'll do that. All the phones you have listed are Sense based phones, and they will work with HTC sync. which is a program for computers to sync the phone with non google things like outlook, and your contacts.
Thanks Sublime1184 for the awesome siggy

the great thing about Android is the Dev community. if you can think it, someone can build the app.:
there are some Outlook sync apps in the market, but most have issues syncing properly. im sure there are some good third party apps for Outlook. just Google for "Android Outlook Sync app" or similar
