ok so i encountered a problem so if i power my cliq off n hold menu and put my charger in can i reinstall jr33's.v1.3.xx.root.shx without bricking my cliq. cause it says 1.3.xx and im on 1.4.8 if i reinstall that will it brick

i flashed a theme n it wouldnt show the home screen so i wiped n it didnt work then i tried to re flash KB7SQI's rom but sadly it briqed it would turn on then just shut off so i said screw it n im sendin it in n gettin a new 1

If you're running my V1.3.18 build, it should be a no wipe needed update

I think it's probably a definitly wipe situation no matter what. When I tried to install this new version from your 1.3.18 build, I made sure I wasn't on Handlers 1.5(about phone), then I followed instructions to a tee... and yet still had the problems a few others listed.

The Blur 1.4.2 Install went fine, but then after flashing 1.4.8 successfully, and rebooting, the phone turns off and attempts to go to recovery shut it right off again as well. Then, I went to my cmd prompt (It was hooked up to my PC) and hit it with a adb shell, reboot, and let it boot (didnt try recovery since i knew itd just shut it off) It boot looped one time, and about 5 minutes later booted successfully.

Now recovery works, everything is fine, and it did end up being a no wipe update, but not as cut and dry as it is listed. Just wanted to post this for anyone whos having problems. Even when the phone seems to turn off after trying to get into recovery, hooking it up to adb and hitting "Adb devices" still shows it in Recovery (although showing a black screen)... so don't worry do what I did you didn't briq! Lol. (I hope)

Now that it's running I'm sure it'll be great, Love your work KB7 as usual I'm sure this will be no different. Appreciate your efforts and hard work you put in for everybody here. Not trying to sound out of line in the paragraphs above, just trying to help others that may have had the same issues.

Guys,

after the second update (the big one) you might think the phone just go off and won't boot, but actually is in the recovery mode, just that the screen backlight is off. But if you look closely you'll see the menu is there and the phone is "fine", so there no need to plug it to the PC and use adb. Just use the volume keys to go to the first entry and it home button to reboot.

After that, it all goes fine.

i followed alot of your work on the behold II/ you do good things/ glad to see your are part of this community as well/ you and handler are destined to make some awesome devopments/ BTW, its noticeably faster for me/ very quick and snappy

ok I just removed alot of apps and Metamorph still gives me the "please make sure you have enough space in /system and that busybox is installed." how much memory do you need to run it?

can someone please post a version of this rom on a "diet" so I can use metamorph? would be much appreciated.

Im all confused on thee theme instalation. with handlers 1.5 you could install a theme much easier but with this is super confusing, help?

As promised, I said I'd come back and give my feelings on this Rom after a few days of testing. Well, other than the original problems I faced flashing over to it, the Rom itself runs like a champ!

3d Apps and games seem to run even better than they did on KB7 1.3.18 Rom! Also it just feels nice and snappy overall. On par with Handler 1.5 if not better. Screen swipes/transitions are nice and usually not choppy (depending on how much crap is on your 5 screens ) FM Radio is awesome! Works great. Touch Screen is nice and responsive, no dead spots, etc. As for battery life, I have so many things tweaked and running that my phone only lasts a day on any Rom/Settings with my heavy use. So I can't really make a judgement call there. Dosen't seem to be any better/worse than Handler 1.5 or Old Kb7's. The new radio actually does do what it says though, I'm really enjoying this update.

If anyone is wondering whether or not to flash over to 1.4.8, I'd say DO IT Unless you have to have wifi tether/custom kernel or are scared of the process... then wait til the full one comes out! That'd be the only reason I wouldn't run this Rom. Everything else about it is top notch for what we have offered to us at the moment. Thanks again Kb7!


Edit: One issue I noticed is that once n a while when I have a text open, or certain other things (that I don't remember) The screen will sometimes flicker black (not 0% Brightness, but fully black screen/almost like the second before an incoming call) For a second while I'm typing, but then flashes right back. I know all the Devs had brightness issues for a while, but is this the same? Either way I still LOVE this rom! Just wanna make sure it's not a hardware problem with my phone, and report it as a bug if thats what it is.
