Ok to flash the recovery u do the following
1)rename the recovery "recovery"
2)put it on ur sd's root (it can't be in any folders)
3)download terminal emulator from market any will do
4)in terminal type "su" then press enter
5)after it will skip a line and us will see "#"
6)now type
"flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img"
7) you have successfuly flashed a recovery
Now to install roms, turn off the phone
Turn it back on holding the camera button
Then let go when it says
Thena little menu will pop and ask u to press up or down
Press the volume down button
Wait for it to load
When loaded go to nandroid and make a backup
After go to wipe and do a full wipe or it may be called all wipe for J_r0dd
Now go to install zip
Choose the rom u downloaded (once again it should be in the root, not in any folders)
And it will flash
Remember first boot will take forever don't worry its fine, just as long as the screen doesn't go black and then restart again, that's called a boot loop and means something went wrong, but nothing will go wrong
hope that helped

I am trying to go back to stock recovery for the Motorola Cliq, as i am going to sen in my phone for exchange.
I am trying to remove it to get my phone exchanged and all. I tried SBF but it always gave me some form of error. Will try again tho, but any other suggestion?
EDIT: I finally got it to work, I had to update to the latest, plus i moved the file to my desktop instead, so now its flashing as i type, Flashed Perfectly. Thanks for the help none-the-lessLast edited by Jamar16; 02-27-2011 at 03:57 PM. Reason: Additional Info

Just a quick question, will this recovery work on the older ROM's or will I have to change recovery back to 1.8.1 to install the older ROMs properly? I want to try a froyo ROM but if I don't like it then I need to know if this recovery will allow me to go back to say adlxmod 2.1.5-5.
Thanks in advance for any info.Phone:Samsung Galaxy S3
