I like very much this recovery, i'd like to ask one thing, what is nandroid +ext backup?
why i get an error when i try this option?

nandroid "error run nandroid-mobile.sh restore via adb"

nandroid + ext means the regular nandroid backup + the extended partition for runnings apps from memory card (a2sd). As this option is not really available/stable for cliq, you shouldn't use that option. If you have the extended partition, you wouldn't get that error as j_r0dd has confirmed this to work. But since you probably don't have that partion, that's why you are getting the error. A regular nandroid backup will be backup everything, so just choose that.

I am happy just the way it is. I am not changing it. i made it bright because i got sick of looking at the same old dark recovery. if you want to change stuff you can use the recovery customization engine in this same section. But if you use it to change text colors you will end up with amon_ra's recovery and not my updated recovery.

I am on your 1.6 recovery. Do I still have to remove the 1.6 recovery via adb or can I just flash it over top?

EDIT: Sorry I thought the M3 Cliq V 1.6 recovery was yours and 1.7 was the next release. My apologies. You can delete this.

this is based on Amon_RA's 1.6 source. he never release 1.7.0 for the Cliq so i just added and removed some features to match up with 1.7.0. you can just flash over the recovery btw

Oh okay thanks for the help! I didn't know they were basically the same thing, just yours is updated. I did just flash right over top of it and all is well!

I also did occur a problem when trying to flash the recovery in adb, I triple checked my commands and made sure I put your recovery in the right place. It was a no-go. I tried renaming it because I thought I was spelling it wrong. I just used the terminal emulator and it flashed no problem.. Weird.
