Great ROM! Everything works smooth, batery life is good. Just one thing:

Pressing the power button doesn't lock the screen. Longpress works and brings up the options but single press does nothing.

I searched the thread and saw some people having similar issues but not exactly the same. I did a full wipe before flashing. Any ideas? I really don't want to wipe and flash again...

j_r0dd, first off, awsome ROM, love the look and feel of it. It seems that every time the phone shuts off and reboots, more and more features start working like they should. I was actually gonna post some issues here, but now there is only one to post. I did a full wipe before booting up, and the onle strange thing I have going on is with the dialer screen. When you pull the phone away from your ear to press something while in a call, the screen goes black like you had just put it back up to your ear. Thinking its a sensor issue??? Otherwise like I said before, Kick a** ROM dude. keep up the good work!!

That's not an issue. Its the PROXIMITY SENSOR doing its job. It prevents you from accidentally ending a phone call with your face. Whenever you are on a call the screen blacks out. Its a built in feature not a bug. Just put your call on speaker before you attempt to navigate the phone in the midst of a conversation.

Do I need to make the SD Card ext3 or will it work as ext2? What happens if I do not create it as ext2? I want to try the script out, haven't used since Beta 6 so want to try the new one, however the one I am currently using says use ext2.

ext2 doesn't support some of the features of ext4/3, most of which are transparent to us as mobile phone users.

I want to try the script out, haven't used since Beta 6 so want to try the new one, however the one I am currently using says use ext2.

Currently our phones support only ext2. To support newer filesystems we would need at least 2.1 source, which we don't have and may never have.

Hi All... Chiming in here a bit late.. The first post mentions using ext3 partition. Just picked up a 16gb class 6 card formatted to ext2 (should this be ext3). Running stock ROM at the moment. To update.. Need to install:
[Recovery] j_r0dd-mb200-v1.7.6 FINAL (10/5/10)
and beta11 of JRodd ROM.. Can someone point me to a link to start this. On Ubuntu and my Cliq is rooted.

you need the recovery on the phone to flash the rom. but i also recommend using the recovery program to partition the sdcard. i would just use ext3. even though the phone will only recognize it as ext2 at the moment. ext3 is just ext2 with journaling. DO NOT USE EXT4

J_r0dd, once again, this ROM is smokin! It gets faster and faster everytime I reboot, Just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for the awesome ROM. By far the best 2.1 ROM out here right now!!
