Hi - thanks for the great work, this looks really good!

Trying to get things set up, Settings / accounts seems to force close every time, is this just my phone?

No. It's a known bug. On the first page of this thread there is a link to the bug list - if you look there you'll see this and other known issues.

Let me try that. Thanks for the quick reply. I tried brwnMODv3.zip file on the sdcard and got the phone into recovery mode. There are 3 options that I see.

reboot system now (Menu + Back)
apply sdcard:update.zip [Alt +S]
Wipe data/factory reset [Alt +W]

I am not able to run the brwnMODv3.zip. Any other way of doing this? Thanks

are you using a Custom Reovery Image? I believe you have to have one. I would recommned Handler's Custom Recovery


Once you have that loaded follow these steps

Donwload both files and load them on you SD Card (Don't rename them)
Wipe Factory Data/Cache (Do this twice)
Apply the brwnmod.zip
*Don't reboot yet**
Apply the superuser zip file
then reboot

Thanks Whitney. Any way to work around it? My contacts don't seem to be syncing so I was hoping to click/unclick them to get the ball rolling again..

proximity sensor goes crazy when in call on the home screen, its impossible to pull down the notifications bar while on the home screen in a call because it blacks out any time your finger comes near the screen.... anybody else notice this?

Hrm I don't think there a MOD For your radio
the highest one for your radio is 1.3.18
check with handerexploit.

Check out his thread to see if there is a recovery.img for 1.3.20 you may want to IM him as I would not recommend flashing to this reovery now since its not made for your radio.

I've noticed the same proximity sensor issue that wheeliest found. During calls, it's impossible to get the notification bar because the screen blacks out.

I thought I seen instructions somewhere to get certain things back, I would think you would use adb to push it to the phone and reboot, but not sure if anything else is required to run that apk
