Hello everyone,

I am new to upgrading. I just spent my whole day with trying different ROMs with different ways.

I found this ROM's discussion alot and think it should work,and it worked perfectly. Initially I got error because of I did not wipe out.

Please, can anyone tell me that how I can do the patch???

Hi Folks !

I'm afraid got my dext bricked..., it was with the original brazilian rom (Claro carrier - Android 1.5), I've tried to flash this new ROM.

I got root successfuly then I've changed radio Successfuly too, but when flashed the adlx2.0 did't work... (I know that is because I did not wiping...), Now I missed the recovery menu access, tried to flash recovery again via RSD lite, but when I press and release reset keys combination, nothing happens....

There is any method to force some full firmware installation ?
Where can I find a shx complete firmware ? (googled around unsucessfuly...)

I think you need to update your radio first. Or flash the correct one.

Using this Mod, Has anyone experienced an issue with Contacts within Motoblur? I was attempting to view status updates but the contacts app simply force closes. Viewing contact details appears to be fine though, just status updates.

I used the guide for installing de ADLX Rom, everything goes OK expect for 3G. It only woks 2G. I'm in Argentina (Claro phone company).
I don't know if I flash the wrong radio, and maybe there is the problem.

When you type a 8 digit number, for example it shows as:
###-###-##.
Although this is correct in some countries, in Brazil we use ####-####.

Is there any way to change this ?

Everything else works perfectly.

Yes, there is, all you need to do is change the language to Portuguese that the mask automatically change to ####-#### for new and old numbers.

Hi everyone and especially the Man ADLX for his MOD

This is the first time I have modded a phone and was fed up of having an Android 1.5 Dext here in the UK, I like the phone but not the level of Android support provided by Motorola.

Being new to modding phones I would like to point out to anyone else who is new, what took me a day and half to figure out, if you do not have USB DEBUGGING mode switched ON, your computer WILL NOT see the phone and you cant do anything. Andf if it says you might want to WIPE, take it as read it means DO IT.

Settings - Applications - Development - USB DEBUGGING.

Enough of that I now have a phone with the following attributes

Motorola Dext (Obviously)
System - Blur_Version.2.0.25.MB200.T-Mobile.en.US
Firmware - 2.1-update 1
Baseband - 5025
Build Number adlxmod2.0.2

Everything works, 3G, WIFI, Alarm Clock, everything - it took some time setting up the Orange UK APN's but all now configured and I am really happy.

You only must download Launcher Pro from the Market. The launcher included in this Rom is the free version and you can get the last update in the Android Market.

Hola todos. Soy de Argentina con un Dext de Movistar, realize el procedimiento con el nuevo Root y funciona todo!!! barbaro!!! al principio me asuste porque no me aparecia el 3g, pero despues me di cuenta que tenia que configurar el apn! y ahora tengo toodo!! soy feliz!!!

Hola, necesito tu ayuda. Tambien soy de Movistar Argentina, lo rootee y actualize la rom, pero no consigo andar el 3g con ninguna rom. Por lo que vos pones el problema puede estar en el rooteo. Me podes pasar info de lo que debo hacer (si tenes los enlaces que usaste mejor). Gracias, espero tu respuesta pronto
