Blur is worthless being that there are widgets for facebook and Twitter.

Blur was only for marketing.

Yes, this is built from the Android source-code.

It is not a DE-BLURED ROM, it is a NEVER-HAD-ANY-BLUR ROM. :]

sorry if it is a noob question.. how can i put motoblur in this same rom cause i dont like the unlock screen and other stuff from the 2.1 BLUR how can i do it? or exist some rom with this features?

Ok. Kinda confused here. So you want to put Blur on this rom because you dont like the unlock screen and other stuff from the 2.1 Blur? That kinda contradicts itself. Either way... no this ROM does not have any Blur services installed. You will need to use one of the other ROMS that does have Blur on it.

Besides, the lock screens are the same I believe. They have that little swipe action in the 2.1 Blur like this does.

ok so far the rom is running great. love ur rom. but ive notice that some things i download they force close or say im not rooted. setcpu when autodetect says force close. then i tried to just click on the moto cliq instead of doing autodetect then it wont let me adjust nothing and boot animation says im not rooted so i cant do nothing there. also cant send pic messages. those are the only problems i see with the rom. but wifi tethering works when u download it from the market its called barnacle for the people that dont know. also live wallpapers run smoother on this rom then any other rom ive used. so thanks for the beta 1 good for everyday use. does anyone know if a g1 is a good phone? im getting one tonight for a trade so i will have a g1 and cliq

The only difference is that Eclair2Cliq unlock screen has the swipe for adjusting silent mode (since the physical switch for it does not work).

I believe this needs Superuser installed? That is why your Rooted apps like SetCPU is not registering as rooted. I know this was an issue with the other 2.1 roms. But there is a fix that worked on the other ones. Travis is this the same issue here?

well if thats all it is then i would download it. but it says its on the rom i see it and i click it but nothing is there. so idk hopefully its a simple fix. im just more worried about sending pic messages then anything.

ok so i fixed the problem with superuser. on wtcnbrwndo4u's rom he had problems with that as well and he had a link somewhere to download some patch or something to get superuser working right. but i guess he fixed it in his rom so he doesnt have the link for the fix anymore so i had it on my sd card before when i was using his rom.so i flashed it and now superuser works just fine and it detects that im rooted.

Well that theory is based off the other 2.1 roms that are out. Not 100% sure. Travis will need to confirm. Plus I am at work and can't flash this for another 5 hrs when I get home. Then I can test it for ya, but I am pretty sure someone else is gonna have the figured out within an hr or so...

Very, very fast ROM, even compared to the most deblurred on here. Flashing su-222-signed.zip fixed all of my issues, for those who can't get superuser.
