[ROM] Eclair2CLIQ Beta1 - 8/01/2010

Welcome to Eclair2CLIQ!(the continuance of otabbb’s port)

First of all, I will start off by saying the usual,

“This ROM can harm your phone. It might cause your phone to permanently be stuck in paper weight mode. If, for some reason, this happens; it is not my fault. If you blame it on me; I will laugh at you(for hours.)”

This ROM is still in an early stage of development called BETA! Although a lot of features now work, there are still a few that can keep this ROM from being a daily driver, as of now.

Also, this should go without saying by now, but remember TO WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET and WIPE Dalvik-Cache!

Sensors fixed(orientation, accelerometer, proximity, etc.)
3.5mm Headphone Jack
Removed Wi-Fi tethering since we do not have kernel source

ERRORS/ISSUES:
Since this is a Beta ROM, there are still several errors and issues:
-Bluetooth
-Facebook Contact Sync(Not a Vital Issue)
-Certain Live Wallpapers don't work
-Launcher2 doesn't work

IMPORTANT: After flashing Eclair2Cliq Beta 1, you will need to follow these instructions to get root access again.

I have to thank otabbb for figuring out how to compile source for the CLIQ, Cyanogen since I used parts of his ROM, HandlerExploit for his knowledge and the BLUR 2.1 leak, barakinflorida, Eugene_373, kb7sqi for his kernel source, Danation for his testing skills, j_r0dd and the multiples of users and Moderators at M3 who have been diligently waiting and helping!

Ok. To make sure, Bluetooth does not work right? Just making sure because the errors mentions the rom is in Alpha. Not sure if that was an accidental copy from when E2C was actually in Alpha.

Do you mean FLASH like any other rom? Then yes. Wipe, Wipe, Flash. If you do not have ROOT, then you must ROOT your phone before this can be flashed.

Sweet no biggy just wanted to make sure. Will flash once I get off work. Why do you always release while I am at work LMAO! Thanks tho been waiting for this. The Alpha was killer for what it could do at the time.

Just a tip for users - if you want WiFi tether, use barnacle in the mean time

Bluetooth headset... I took the Oprah pledge yo! LMAO JK. Yes if you are already rooted, then wipe wipe wipe first before flashing this rom. This will help minimize any issues that can be caused from a different rom conflicting with this one. It also limits FC's based on conflicting roms.

If its anything like the Alpha... then yes no blur.

How is status led behaving? I didn't like the alpha behaviour because sometimes I accidentaly pressed the buttons inside my pocket and status led turned off.
