yes, it requires 1 of the 2 2.1 radios

hate to sound like suck a noob but i never flashed a radio b4. can this be done via recovery? I have an N1 rooted up all crazy but never did a radio b4.

it has nothing to do with just market, its your internet connection period.
you have to run the dns script every time you connect to wifi because there's an official bug in the leak that the rom doesn't generate a dns when connecting to wifi.

i might've fixed the laggy issues in the rom I'm working on it right now

i redeoxed the entire rom, i re-customized the framework files for the black bar and i zipaligned all apks in the entire rom including in data

i cleaned up some other stuff so we'l see how this works out. if it works like i think it'll be beta 9 but it unfortunately will need wipe.

Huh? lol. No no no. My Wifi works fine. Just market doesn't connect anymore. Dns fix isn't doing anything. It worked at first.

BTW, I'm running this right now, I do like it. I appreciate the different colors from BB, the blues are somewhat nicer.
I noticed the icons on the top bar not always having transparent backgrounds but looks like you're getting it sorted out.

i have a lot of the performance bugs out of the way. i rebuilt a lot of the rom this evening. I'm doing this instead of getting my homework finished which means I'll be up all night so you guys better appreciate me lol

and later this week i'm going to redo the icon set for the entire rom with a set of iphone icons because that seems to be the majority of my requests

when i have some vacation time from school i plan on making some metamorph themes but i need a chunk of time for that lol

Your hard work it’s always appreciated! I still have to stick with my Cliq for another year before I can buy a new cell phone. Looking forward to try beta 9 as soon it’s out.

you can leave apps2sd intact just do a wipe but don't wipe your ext partition. after you flash the rom just run the install script again and all your apps will be there
