im not having that issue and it doesnt have to do with what i had you push to your phone maybe your having service issues?

Before, when there was no service, an icon with a small x.
Now the space appears empty. But space is maintained.
Have rebooted the appliance several times. I'm sure I followed his guidance correctly.

did you wipe prior to flashing?

i uploaded the fixed beta 9 files... links in the op

Something is very strange.
I was not allowed to run the DNS fix.
The signal icon appeared and disappeared again.

I was careful to clean everything before flashing beta9.

try wiping and reflashing the rom again. wipe everything...
wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, battery stats and rotate data

then go to partition sd and run the repair ext option.

then go to other and fix permissions...

then flash the rom again

go to super user and allow gscript or remove it from the list and rerun a gscript script and it'l request superuser permission again

i downloaded the new rom, flashed it, clock works but signal bars only show up for a couple seconds then disappear and cant seem to get superuser to work anymore

idk what the heck is going on because i flashed it the same way as you guys and its working like a charm for my 2 cliqs. il look into this tomorrow for you guys. im sorry

Same issue here. I'm going to flash the latest version of SU and see what happens. BTW, I love the blue theme. You really outdid yourself with this release!

Update 1: I just noticed that the Superuser.apk inside /system/app is only 37.2kb in size.
Update 2: I went into recovery and flashed latest SU and now is working just fine. Gscript is working too.

that could be the issue. thanks for pointing that out. now on to why its doing the bars. idk yet. my 2 aren't. but I'm re-flashing the new zip on my backup cliq to see what happens

I'm seriously puzzled now because my service bars are showing on my backup cliq and i seriously just flashed the same file i uploaded for you guys

it does have the superuser problem though

until i can release a fixed zip with superuser fixed. just download it off the market and the issue is fixed

I'm working on it right now guys. i downloaded the new superuser off the market and I'm dropping it in the zip and I'm looking into the framework files i modded to see whats going on

hey guys i think i found the issue... it was similar to the superuser issue... the file got corrupt

the 2 new zips are uploading once again lol

files and links updated. crossing my fingers i fixed the 2 bugs that were found

Still having the signal bars issue. I just wiped everything and flashed the new rom zip. BTW, this Rom feels smoother and faster I like it a lot.

When using google Talk I'm getting a "Lost connection to server. Messages will be sent when online." message that comes and goes. A friend of mine told me he sees me getting offline and online all the time. When I switch to Wifi everything comes back to normal. Could the signal bars issue be related to this behavior? I think I'll have to flash beta 8 to double check.

still having signal bar issues occasionally but not as much, but overall i really like beta 9 especially the blue
