1) JIT is a Just In Time compiler. It is a different way of running your phone that is really only optimised for Froyo. If installed on an Eclair ROM JIT will benchmark exceptionally well, but the phone doesn't feel massively faster and there will be various instabilities, such as GoogleApps force closing (My own ROM was very similar to this - I put the instability down to my ROM rather than JIT at the time
2) A2sd is simple to install using GScript, play with the settings until you get to what is right for you.
3) This ROM, BarelyBlurred and my ROM are all fairly closely related, being based originally on J_r0dd's ROM. It may be that you can get away without doing a wipe, your phone will almost certainly boot without a wipe, but you may find issues with lag and instability. If you find these, do a wipe and reflash before bitching about the ROM... it will probably solve your problems.
4) Cliq/DEXT has always seemed to get a bit laggier with use. Especially as the number of installed apps goes up. A2sd does tend to help with this a little.

Quick question, since you released a new beta, and I wanna update, can I flash it over the current ROM without any problems and without losing any data? Because I don't want to wipe again

are you using handcent?
sorry people my laptop was out of service for a few days i needed to have the keyboard replaced. when i did have a chance to get online it was on my mom's desktop. all good now. laptop fixed. uploading the files to mediafire now
op is now updated for all mediafire links once again
if you don't want to wipe you can try to flash beta 6 without it but don't hold me liable if you have issues because i warned you in the op to wipe. if i was you id run a nandroid prior to flashing and if you have issues restore and then you can do a mybackup/titanium backup and then wipe and flash and restore
the low memory task killer is a option in gscript. i use the optimum setting personally. you long press on your homescreen and select shortcut and then i believe hit applications and then gscript and you select the option for dns fix to create the shortcut
to fix the lag that occurs after awhile of use; i found that clearing the dalvik cache helps. i do it once a week and i also found that the phone runs a lot smoother if you don't move the dalvik cache to the sdLast edited by godfather123189; 09-08-2010 at 02:12 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

so, i partition my sd card, ext+swap+fat32. enable apps2sd, restart. how to check it's functionable? i enable it, and install apps. look on setting>sd card>the internal memory still decrased..

even with apps2sd installed the data for apps is still stored in internal memory. the optimum task kill is just a background task killer built into the system. if you use the included task killer app(i personally do) continue to use it. to check if apps2sd is functional use the check apps2sd option in gscript
op now includes swype downloadLast edited by godfather123189; 09-08-2010 at 10:27 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
