My Dext UK on 1.3.20 gets stuck on the custom Android boot screen with this Beta 6. I wiped before.

even with apps2sd installed the data for apps is still stored in internal memory. the optimum task kill is just a background task killer built into the system. if you use the included task killer app(i personally do) continue to use it. to check if apps2sd is functional use the check apps2sd option in gscript

i see i see. i read the partition apps2sd and someone reccomend this:
-512mb ext2
-32mb swap
-left for fat32.
so i follow this 512 is enough with the apk i think

nice rom! what nice is YOU still answer all of user question

do you know chompsms? how to turn off the popup? in handcent we can, but chompsms i think the option is not available. or, any sms apps you recomend (except handcent. is soo laggy)?

Is anyone having sync issues between their phone and gmail. Lately I have been deleting on my phone but the emails are still saved on the server though. I have have cleared the cache too.

i found FC.
when editing a contact, adding picture, its become FC. but the picture still saved. so it's fine

and when i received a call, smtimes it FC. hemm..

and no laggy anymore from potrait to landscape (slide the keyboard) using chompsms nice!
hope motorola release source code eclair and this rom can play 3d games

i don't find handcent to be laggy but im using swype so idk what keyboard your using.

Nevermind it worked after a few boots.

you just had to give it aobut 4-6 minutes too boot because the dalvik was being built if you did a full wipe. its a normal boot time for a fresh 2.1 rom

this rom is specifically for the new 2.1 radio released for tmobile. if you want a rom for the dext use adumont 2.01 or you could upgrade to that new italian radio that was released for 2.1 dext users

im sorry i dont do personal emails to people on forums. the link is perfectly functional and no1 else has complained

hit refresh in gmail on your phone after you delete. i think its a bug in the leaked 2.1 rom the refresh rate by default is set to a long time period

yes those are recommended figures and theyre the defaults if you use jrodd's recovery as i have recommended in the op. if you go to partition sd it auto sets those figures but gives you the option to change them

This ROM works on my Dext Orange UK 1.3.20 Radio. I've gone with the barely blurred ROM though since it has less apps preinstalled and is a bit quicker if you don't mind me saying!

This is incorrect info. There are a couple of flavours of DEXT radios. It is probably a majority of DEXTs that have exactly the same frequencies as the t-mobile US ones. It is only South America (Mexico, Brazil), that small Italian carrier, Bell US & Canada and some small carriers in Asia that have 850MHz radios.
Europe, Australia (well, everyone except Telstra NextG), other parts of Asia have 900/2100 3G.
I am running the 5036 tmobile-US radio fine on my Aussie DEXT, and have run the original Aussie 5025, the Orange.FR 5025, the Aussie OTA upgrade 5030, and now the 5036, all with no problems.

I'm sorry about that i was given false information by a friend that all dexts ran on a different frequency than the cliqs in the US

Just remember what most people (before the rageagainstthecage method came long) rooted their CLIQs with, the Orange French DEXT firmware with 5025 radio.

true but i didn't have a sim in my cliqs when i rooted them so i didn't know if 3g worked with it or not

yeah i'm using jrod recovery as well.

i have compare between blurry eclair and barely blur..
blurry eclair more speed and more stable. but the battery drain so fast. is there any configuration to decrase the battery usage (my backlight is 0, 2g only, rarely use wifi/connection, prefer messaging than calling)

compare to barely blured,
first time use it stable as blurry eclair. and a few week become lag, and after that stable again.. lag again.. etc
the battery can make 2 days of my usage.

so, can you tell me what apps you using to make the battery long last? ex: using advance task killer>crazy auto-kill>kill when screen turn off>make ignore list to keep the program run fast; or using optimum low killer (that's what i do like you )
just tell us what your configure to blurry eclair

I want to start using this ROM, I have barely blurred installed right now and it's all good however, sometimes the sound on the phone goes out which is really annoying when I'm setting my alarm....does this ROM have the same issue???
