I read the warning but didn't quite understand it due to my limited english.
I have a t-mobile US branded motorola cliq which runs on 1700/2100 3G band.
when i flash with rc3 rom, should i flash the tmo 2.1.5 radio.zip too?
currently i am using official 2.1 and rooted with z4root.
After copying rom and radio files to SD card, does it automatically flash it if i reboot the phone?

Check what baseband version you have installed. (Menu->Settings>About phone->Baseband version)

Since you installed the stock 2.1, chances are you've already got 5041 (76XXC-63805041-SDCBALUM) in which case there's no point in flashing the radio, just do the rom.

I checked the baseband of my phone and it matches the one you wrote.

Sorry, FM radio doesn't work. I'm not aware of any Eclair ROM with a working FM radio.

This is an old thread. Most of the 1.5 roms have FM radio. You can look at them for the information.

2.1 roms will have the ability as soon as Motorola releases the kernel source.

Great ROM! Everything working as said in the post! As I'm in Italy, anyway, I didn't install the radio.sdf file but the ROM works as well.

Anyway, I have a problem: I cannot update my social network status (cannot even install the widget), it seems like a blur package is missing. I searched over all the ROMs but couldn't find anything about it. Any clue?

MT is multi-touch I believe, like the iPhone. Supposed to cause damage to the Cliq.

My suggestion is to instead use Jazzycliq's 1.2 ROM or use Jaydub's 2.3.5 ROM. It is one of the most stable and everything works. Load ROM Manager and then go over to simply-android.com and get the ROM and load it, it breaths a whole new life to the Cliq.

Ok well i am a user of the blurry eclair because i thought it would have enough of the motoblur function i need
(I actually like motoblur even though inputting my info after a reset is annoying)
ANyway this thread says that 90% or mototblur is gone or changed and now im starting to have issues with my contacts...
All i want to do is import my sim's contacts to the contacts app but NOTHING IS SHOWING UP, it says importing but the app is still empty..
I want blurcontacts (this is the name of the apk i found in systems/app, on the phone its just Contacts) to sync with the motoblur service but this app doesnt seem to be doing that.

Could some smart modder please help me reinstall a working/syncing(with Motoblur) blurry eclair contacts apk. I wouldnt really care if i hade to go back to the original motoblur contact files, i have a copy of the official blur version 2.1 update w/Motoblur, but im not sure what files to replace..(theres blurcontacts.apk,blurcontacts.odex,blurcontactssyn c.apk,etc...)

WHat should i replace between the Blur_Version.2.1.5.MB200.T-Mobile.en.US and the blurry eclair to get the contacts app syncing w/ motoblur and importing from sim correctly?
(i dont need to replace calender, email, home, etc cuz the blurry versions are working fine.. just the stuff involved wit motoblur n contacts...)

P.S I tried forcibly clearing the cache+data of any app related to the contacts app or syncing service but that didnt seem to have an affect and after rebooting processes like moto blur services or contacts sync seem to be working fine... but not the contacts app

Im not sure how but after a couple failed reinstalls, then a system restore, the contacts is working perfectly and syncing wit motoblur. Im pretty sure the reason is because i just recently activated data service on my phone whereas i was using wifi every now and then before. Btw i noticed that other contact apps were finding the contacts my sim card left (such as the contacts search widget) but the regular contacts app wasnt reading them for some reason or syncing.
I guess the contacts app on blurry eclair DOESNT WORK W/O A DATA PLAN (might wanna fix that in next update guys).

Also i installed a live wallapaper once, turned it on and though it didnt play really smooth in the background, it worked but then after a screen lock, my other wallpaper came back and i haven't used live wallpapers since... i don't know if live w. are an issue but im throwing it out there

Now for my review of the Blurry Eclair:
GREATEST ROM WITH MOTOBLUR!!
My only issue was the contacts thing and now thats fixed, everythings smooth. One issue ive found is that theres a system app called voicemail which keeps telling me to set up my visual voicmail account wit t-mobile.. its not a big deal, i just click ok from the drop bar and move on but i don't even use t-mobile, i have simple mobile so i think this app should be removed in the next update...
I removed some of the preloaded apps and customized the hell out of this rom, mostly just the home screen but DAMN it looks NICE! and im going to try to make a video of my work n post it back here

Um not much more to say but for future updates i really would like to see more
1. WIDGETS,
2. better looking dropbar with ability to add wifi on/off button, 3. battery percentage,
4. better music app and widget then MUIU...
5. ALOT more wallpapers (live and regular)
6. Widgets installer (only linda manager was able to install new widgets for me (manually dl'd not market installed) and not all worked for some reason.

MIUI MUSIC ( It works fine but could be nicer)
SpareParts (not many extra options and not neccessary imo and shouldnt be a system app)
