I want to start using this ROM, I have barely blurred installed right now and it's all good however, sometimes the sound on the phone goes out which is really annoying when I'm setting my alarm....does this ROM have the same issue???

no this rom doesn't have that bug. i know what your talking about because its happened to me in the past on other roms my alarm never went off a few times

i use chompsms now try it! faster than handcent IMO

i have compare between blurry eclair and barely blur..
blurry eclair more speed and more stable. but the battery drain so fast. is there any configuration to decrase the battery usage (my backlight is 0, 2g only, rarely use wifi/connection, prefer messaging than calling)

compare to barely blured,
first time use it stable as blurry eclair. and a few week become lag, and after that stable again.. lag again.. etc
the battery can make 2 days of my usage.

so, can you tell me what apps you using to make the battery long last? ex: using advance task killer>crazy auto-kill>kill when screen turn off>make ignore list to keep the program run fast; or using optimum low killer (that's what i do like you )

i personally use setcpu to set the cpu down to max/min of 245 when screen off and have it on powersave and when screen is on i have max/min set to 520 on performance mode, i have apps2sd enabled, dalvik on sd, market,browser and gmail caches on sd, and i use the optimal low memory killer, i also use the task killer app that is included with the rom and i kill apps frequently, i have the ignore list setup to ignore apps i want to keep alive.

in the next release I'll leave the apps out and put them in an app pack for people to choose to use or not. I'll work on another icon set if i get anymore complaints about the current 1 in beta 7

op now updated to contain a guide to report fc's thank you for following this guide and not just telling me something fc'ed

i just personally had a chance to install beta 7 on my phone and found a bug that when i themed some apps and resigned them they wont install. I'm working on fixing that now and i will release the fix by late tomorrow

it comes in 2 versions... the full rom and the base rom
the full rom comes with all the extra apps that were included in the previous versions and the base version is stripped down for the people that didn't want the apps. the icon set is complete in this version and if i get any complaints i will change it. I'm open to suggestions

i just realized a mistake i made when theming beta 8, i forgot to rename blur-res-apk back to apk after ziping it... im fixing it now

I got it to work. But this is soo slow compared to 1.5 Rom by far. Downgrading again
