do you know what effects the adb script for deblurring a 2.1 rom does on your rom? i did that to my previous 2.1 rom before switching to yours recently and it completely changed the messaging app into stock app but i like that your rom keeps the universal inbox so i don't need to go to separate apps to view different emails/texts/etc. so i was wondering if you've tried deblur on your rom yet because i want to keep stuff like all the accounts in one place but wanna get rid of unnecessary blur apps that do a lot of background processes that waste battery even if i don't really use them at all. thanks

do you have adb setup on your pc?

i personally use setcpu to set the cpu down to max/min of 245 when screen off and have it on powersave and when screen is on i have max/min set to 520 on performance mode, i have apps2sd enabled, dalvik on sd, market,browser and gmail caches on sd, and i use the optimal low memory killer, i also use the task killer app that is included with the rom and i kill apps frequently, i have the ignore list setup to ignore apps i want to keep alive.

how are people liking the new icon set in beta 7?

your update so fast! i'm still using beta 6 and you release beta 8? or 7? hahaha.. if i want update it, am i must wipe all of my data? or overwrite it?

how to set cpu when screen on and off? and what the effect? it's not make laggy apps, isn't it?
about optimal low memory killer, enable apps2sd, enable swap (somehow after i enable swap, my phone like smoother), dalvil in sd, etc, after the phone reset, am i must enable them again?

about the icon,
i think you must insert apk desktop visualizer. it's free! and you can edit your icon by yourself. it can from jpg, bmp, png, etc! i use it so i can insert my own icon and rename it of course

if your still on beta 6 i recommend wiping but after beta 8 you shouldn't have to wipe for a few builds at least. i don't plan on making any more major changes for awhile

what do you think about task killer? i hear some people say it's useless because can drain battery. kill it, and when running again, can make the battery drain fast.

I got it to work. But this is soo slow compared to 1.5 Rom by far. Downgrading again

Your screen name fits taker777... Seems you're the one with the issues. After all, over 500 folks using the ROM without problems of slowness.

BTW, if you don't like something that's free, then don't use it, but don't come a b1tch1n about it. If you'd like to constructively discuss a problem, then by all means, do so.

I agree taker777 has the problem. These coders put their work out there, which most of us can't, to make our phones better, shut up and follow the steps and it will work, otherwise get rid of the phone and go back to cans and string for your communication.

i think im going to start up on a few metamorph themes for my rom to change app icons easily. and suggestions other than iphone icons?

does anyone also have a suggestion for a fix to auto install the apps in /data/app to /system/sd/app for people with apps2sd installed?

you can install and uninstall it via gscript but i wouldn't attempt it because its not good on any eclair(2.1) rom on any device

you positively will have gapps force closes

I saw his messages yesterday but didn't have time to make a reply. Pretty crappy thing to do though IMO, him that is.

BTW, I've really been enjoying BB, so I'm installing this one to see what improvements you've done.

So far, I really like the boot screen. I haven't gotten around to installing custom ones yet, but I like the one you chose

I don't have a problem with roms. The only mistake was me getting this phone why it just likes to reset it self on newer roms, and older roms

if your on wifi you have to use the dns fix in gscript to connect because thats a bug in the rom and its not just mine but every 2.1 rom at the moment because its not based on an official rom... its a leak... and there is a guide for the dns fix in the op

so far i haven't had any major problems. the force closes are minimal and haven't annoyed me yet, mainly just when i'm in gmail. on gscript what do the various JIT heaps do?? (default, 16MB, 24MB and 32MB?)

it increases the space for the dalvik jit cache
