This rom is based on the official moto 2.1 rom. 90% of blur has been removed... but i left the basics including: contact linking.

*only with battery mod for now when all issues are fixed i will be releasing it like i did with the beta(different flavors)

RC3 (12/11/2010):
*updated to use newer version of files
*included 2 rom versions (multitouch and normal)
*updated widget pack
*updated the radio version for TMO-US
*deleted useless apps that i had included previously (will update the op list of apps when i have a chance
*fixed the bug with the soft-keyword theme
*added Gallery3D and MIUI music player and wifi tether app (not barnacle)
* both versions of the rom use the newest kernel available and supports netfilter,swap,ext3,ext4,and tun

Process for updating:
1)copy the new rom and radio to your sd
2)if you want, run titanium backup (you will be doing a full wipe)
3)reboot to recovery
4)wipe all
5)flash the rom and radio
6)reboot and when it gets back to recovery, repair ext
6)setup motoblur
8) if desired, install apps2sd with gscript
9)all reported bugs have been fixed
10) using jrodd's custom kernel with wifi tether support
Guide for reporting fc's:
you have to have the android sdk setup on your pc and have adb fully functional. pop open a cmd and cd to C:\ and then type:
adb logcat > log.txt.
and then submit to me either the file itself or the output in a post or pm

guide for sd partitioning:
1)reboot your phone while holding your camera button
2)when prompted hit volume down button
3)once in the recovery menu, go to partition sd
4)hit partition sd and select the sizes of the partitions that you want. i recommend at least 512MB for the ext. i also don't recommend upgrading it to ext3 or ext4.

guide for apps2sd:
using gscript (included in the rom) go to install apps2sd it'll ask for su permission; hit remember and allow. once this is done the phone will reboot with the newest version of apps2sd... and all your apps should be installed on the sd.

if you want your dalvik cache on the sd as well, once again go into gscript and hit move dalvik to sd. it'll run and automatically reboot the phone.

2.0.25 does have a new radio I am also including in an SBF to flash with RSDLite. DO NOT FLASH The US Radio IF YOUR CARRIER'S 3G BANDS ARE ANYTHING OTHER THAN WCDMA 900/1700/2100. I also included the radio for the other bands (Italian radio)

DO NOT SPAM THIS THREAD WITH QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS! I WILL IGNORE!

DO NOT INSTALL JIT it's unstable in any 2.1 rom; not just on the cliq but any android hardware. that's why Google didn't include it until froyo(2.2)

its the same apps2sd that jrodd is using. i also changed the boot logo. the only real point to this rom over the other 2.1's is that it doesnt have the sd error that i was having with them. everytime the sd was getting mounted or unmounted (aka booting up, shutting off, mounted via pc, unmount via settings) it would jump to the boot logo. its also quite fast and really smooth and stable; no force closes or errors of any type and i have it running on my cliq and havent restarted in 4 days.

the op was updated. im working on theming the rom and shud have it uploaded by tomorrow

Have you figured out what if anything that you fixed? I still havn't found a difference between the twos ROMs....

I'm still thinking its flakey hardware.

your going to tell me coincidentally 2 cliqs would have the same error and its fixed by a rom but its the hardware?

no i haven't figured out what fixed it but i haven't restarted either cliq since i installed and neither have had the error, and i mount them via PC quite a lot

Yes, yes I will. :-) the Cliq has a horrible track record in the hardware department, I've gone through 4 (and I don't even use it as a phone!). And I can't find anything else to go on ;-) Most developers will tell you, you didn't wipe correctly the first time(s), I'm trying to figure out what the fix was.

I get force closes. With a fresh install and before using gscript, Google Calender widget force closes. I need that calender. I enabled apps2sd and I enabled JIT. I have other force closes after that, but they might have been there before. GT bus tracker FC, blur service FC, calander is still FC. gapp, whatever that is, FC.
