I attempted to make my own battery mod (using metamorph). at first, it just wasn't using all my graphics... so i figured it must be in the XML. so i copied your stat_sys_battery.xml, battery_low.xml and batter_status.xml; and now the battery icon is completely gone (unless i'm charging). any help?

i dont have the joy of sharing hard work sorry. it took me 2.5 days of work to get the coding right so it worked

i havent even shared how i did it with other cliq developers

update: also, another look into my battery issues.... it now appears that it might have had to do with the "Use my location" setting in the privacy settings. it was on. i havent done much testing with it, as i'm nervous to make it be bad again but i have both options in Location & Security OFF. and when "Use My Location" in the Privacy setting is ON my battery drains fast, when i turn it OFF, all is fine. I haven't tried messing with the other settings mixed with this one. hope this might help someone else

with beta 13 on my cliq im getting about 20 hours of moderate use (not using it heavily anymore, im using my hd2)

oh, its okay, I didn't realize it was an effort such as that. how do you edit those xml files anyway? is that something you can share? perhaps I can figure it out on my own, I am a programmer, i just don't have a ton of spare time to tinker with new things. Thanks for your work on this project! If I can't figure it out, would you be able to make a metamorph theme with my battery mod for me, if i sent you the PNGs?

iv offered that before. i told people id make the framework-res.apk for you if you supply the icon pngs
