Vanilla w/Eclair 1.9.1 themed

Ok, I just downloaded the 'skinned' 1.9 ROM, LOOKS great!!
However, when I go to use keyboard (virtual or physical) all I get is japanese symbols!! I tried to go into the settings and look at the different languages and it indicates "English-US" everywhere but still can't read what I'm pressing/typing?! What's going on?

use the bar, move it to the left and it will change from chinese to english

i use this rom but is there a way to change to notification bar to stock white with the rounded battery?

Well I've tried most of the roms here at this site and I really find that this seems to be the fastest for me. However, I do have a problem with the youtube app. When I open it and then click on a video, I get the "sorry, The application has stlopped unexpectedly" error. I've wiped all and reinstalled but still get it. Any suggestions for what I can try to fix the issue would be great. Thx

edit: I do have my sd card partitioned and the apps installed there if that helps at all.

I downloaded and flashed this rom but cannot get my phone to fully boot. It stays stuck on the white boot screen with the motorola logo. I did a wipe prior and wiped and re flashed with no success. Any suggestions?

use root explorer to delete it then install from market. Sorry I haven't been supporting this thread. I had a New baby and he has been having problems. I stop Modding VwE because it's not my rom I just added apps 2 SD and themed it.
