There's an easier way, even though it's not a fix but a work around and you still need to turn off your phone (quite anoying...): Turn off the phone, turn on and as soon as it finishes loading press the power button until the "power off", "airplane mode", etc. options show, turn on wifi. If you do all this before 2g/3g is connected, then it will work
adlx What can I do to help you find out how to solve this? I have seen the logs (logcat) while turning on and noticed that it shows the following error: "E QC-DSS-LIB: unrecognized ifindex 8". Any hint on where to look?

How often is secure (ie, not suffering from overheating and potential burn micro) OC to Dext? What do you recommend? I installed SetCPU and I made it up 528MHz.How to overclock?
The rom support overclocking, but it is not enabled by default. To enable Overclocking, only if you want it, install SetCPU, which can be found for free on the author post at XDA. Start SetCPU, and change the max frequency to the one you want. If you find that a frequency isn't stable for you, try a lower one. It seems that the maximum stable frequency isn't the same fro all phones. You can enable "Set on boot" option.Phone: Motorola Dext (MB200)
Used ROM: adlxmod 2.1.5-5 & theofficial 1.6 & Motoruler 4
OC: 710MHz

528 is the not OC clock speed. I have 2 cliqs, one can support all the way to 748MHz but haven't used it long with that speed, the other doesn't support at all that speed (It freezes immediately I turn it up to) but I have it constantly running at 710MHz without any problem (no overheating). I'm going to test it at 729MHZ but I guess that it will work ok. Those are for Max, for Min I have it in 245 (that is the default value)
EDIT: I recommend you to start turning it up and work arround, you'll notice what is the highest speed your phone support because it will freeze and reboot, so I recommend not checking the "set on boot" option until you ahve tested for some timeLast edited by rhaces; 01-26-2011 at 07:09 PM.

Well, in the tests I've done I noticed that the speed that works for me better is 690MHz, even in the Quadrant Benchmark gave me a score of 315, using 710MHz gives me a lower result. So I will use that value as the most I guess.

That difference, android OC and 1.5 the best result I got was 199 in Quadrant.

Incredible rom Adlx. After two days working with it no problem at all. Today after: browsing internet 40 minutes, three phone calls, four sms, consulting gmail four times, wifi connected for three hours and four apps downloaded from Market, twicca, gReader Pro, Weather Widget activated, GameBoid playing ten minutes; I unplugged the phone from charge at 8:00, now it's 20:33 and the battery level shows 65%. Maybe it's not the fastest rom, maybe it's not the most ultra tunned rom but, for me, it's the best option to be a daily rom because in this rom the most important is that all the options and apps works perfectly and with no errors.
Thanks to Adlx for developing a very professional and useful rom (and I like the dark bar
)

Pfff, To me the battery lasts up to 8 continuous hours, of course I have the MOTOBLUR working all the time, constantly updated gmail and yahoo my mail, some calls and messages, but the minimum brightness and wifi off (only 2G network, my 3G operator does not have any bands that has my Dexter). How do you make last as long?
Last edited by kaiser1313; 01-27-2011 at 02:35 PM.

XD
Phone: Motorola Dext (MB200)

I know this is a stupid question, but how do you install this ROM? I just came over from Blackberry today.
I have it rooted, but the instructions i have for installing it renamed as update.zip fails because the rom's signature is invlid.
Also: I'm on Bell so if I lose 3G it is essentially bricked.

You need a custom recovery to install a custom rom.
