(ROM) CM6 Overhaul (Project Plagued) 04/24/11

Ok, this is an overhaul I did of CM4Morrison. Alot of things I thought unnecessary were taken out and I have took the updates (settings,ringtone fix, etc) and compiled them all into a single ROM. I have also put my own personal tweaks to performance and what not in here. Everything has been updated. Very very special thanks to [MENTION=3108341]ngiordano[/MENTION], [MENTION=3094269]csolanol[/MENTION], @1madfitter, @br3ttu and ANYONE that has helped them/me.

What doesn't work:

HD video (working on it)



Issues:

Camcorder FC (use videocam illusion from market)

Bluetooth, speakerphone and headset calling can be used if you toggle mute on/off after enabling (Haven't had happen, but just in case)



To install:

1.Boot into recovery

2.WIPE SYSTEM

3.Apply full wipe (Link at bottom)

4.Flash Project Plagued

5.Reboot

Sorry for the unclear question, I was tired a heck last night and the heat didn't make it any better.

What I was asking though, is there a work-around to get the symbol key on the Cliq to bring the up the Symbols menu as in previous versions of android? Instead of bringing up the "Input Options" menu...


I found a work-around, but it's not very convenient especially when you cant use the psychical keyboard or it's faster to use the software keyboard.


Work-Around:


*** Disable all software keyboards, this will allow the symbol key to bring up the symbols menu so you can choose the symbols you need. ( "_" is not included in the symbol menu though, so to get it you need to hold shift + ATL and press Z

Sorry I missed your questions guys! Thank you CuervoCoruna for answering, yes it's a physical problem and I don't think it can ever be corrected but I still have it on my list to look into.

[MENTION=33074]jam[/MENTION]jar, it finally happened to me last night(bluetooth) too when I got a call. I'm looking into br3ttu's rom and the 2.3 roms to find an answer for it because it's a bit of an annoyance. Does it happen everytime? For me it doesn't I'm not sure why.

I'm waiting too for a solution with the black text on notification bar. In case I preffer a change for a white bar, but, if is not possible, I accept the white and/or blue text. I just need to know how I can change.

Go into settings, cyanogenmod settings, user interface, under the status bar customization. From there you can change the text colors to whatever you wish

Yeah, it works, thank you. Now I have another doubt. After reboot, I try to turn-on the wifi. It turn-on and after a few seconds, it turn-off. But in the first boot it keep on.

And I´ve noticed too that if the cellphone is charging turned-off (in the screen with giant battery) and you try to turn it on, it stops and you´ll have to remove the charger, the battery, put the battery again and then turn it on. The Mac Adress on wifi advanced settings is unavailable. I was using the adlx 215.5 that has this problem. I made wipe to install this rom (of course), but stays in my head a thing. Here´s the deal: maybe the fact of my previous rom has the same problem can make this rom have it too? In case, I can make restore of my nAndroid backup to j.r0dd's rom, that doesn't have this issue and then flash with this rom and it will solve the problem? Thank you.

For the wifi problem I can't say I've ran into that before, I will definitely have a look into the code for you. As for the charging part, it takes a few seconds to recognize that it's booting up. I saw it to when I first let it die and it booted but after MAYBE 5 seconds or so. For you mac address im not sure, I can look up a few things to see if i can help, did you a full wipe AND the wipe zip? You can try the nandroid backup to work, but I will put these issues on my list for you
