    Jassy,

I installed this ROM last night. I like the speed of it and I really don't miss anything motoblur except for the Exchange calendar.

Please let me know if I can do any troubleshooting for you.

I have my language selected as English (United States). When I am using the android keyboard and I type in the phrase "this is a crazy keyboard. i dont even know where to start". It "corrects" the words such that it turns out to be "Ethical Istart a crazy keyboard. I don't Bevenger know where Tom Istart."

This occurred while I was in the Messaging application.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this? I selected other versions of English and they all seem to do this.

I guess I could download another keyboard, but I would rather just use what is on the ROM.

    Thanks

Well there is a new update out that has the exact same kernel (maybe better)
its CM 7.0.3 which is 2.3.4 and it contains my kernel ima be changing some things soon though

    [MENTION=3259749]nuke7[/MENTION] here it goes:

First off, you have root, that would normally be the first step but as you have it... you get the point.

next you need a custom recovery, now chances are that you have an outdated one if you had somebody do it for you a while ago, so if you want the newest one CLICK HERE
Unzip that and you should be left with a little file named "recovery.img" now right click it and click on "Send To" then click on your phone (make sure you have usb on)
    then turn off usb.
then on your phone go to "Terminal Emulator" and type

    Code:
    su
    flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
once its done reboot your phone
    which is possible by typing
    Code:
    reboot
    in terminal emulator

Now as the phone turns on click and hold the camera button

it will then ask you to release the button, as you do it will ask you to either press the volume up or volume down button

We want the volume down button to go to our custom recovery.

A little Android guy with moto sign will appear.

Tada you just installed and learned how to go to custom recovery

Now to flash my ROM, you download of course, then you move it to your sdcard
it should be on the root directory (it shouldnt be in any folders)

    then boot in to recovery

then click on "Wipe" and then "Wipe ALL" and let that finish, then go to "install zip" or something of that sorts, then click on the ROM you want to flash, once thats done your done too

    Jassy,

You wrote: "the issue can be solved by going into settings, keyboard and langueges then click on the keyboard that your using and unclick autocorrect setting "

I would say that your action is ignoring the issue by turning off the feature. The autocorrect feature is a very nice feature.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

I changed the language to "French (Switzerland)" and the correction was the same. Perhaps the dictionary isn't functioning?

Excuse me, but at the time I'm at school, so I do not have the proper remedy for this issue. So that is why I suggested to ignore the issue. Once I get home and do the things that I must do, I will find a way to solve this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

so let me see if I am right.
1.- if I flash this room I wont have any chance of looging me rario 5025 which I'm using to have 3G on Telcel Mexico.
2.- if I want to get back to the adlxmod 2.1.5.2 will I need to make a nandbackup or just run that room again or there is not a chance to do that.
    thanks for your help.

No this does not change your radio No new ROMs have a radio included so whatever you flash should not break your 3G.

And yes you can make a nandroid, it is actually recommended you do.

No tiene radio este rom. Todos los nuevos ROMs no tienen So no va a crebrar su 3G.

y si une nandroid sera bien.

    (sorry for my bad spanish)

Lets say i installed your rom with an older Recovery.
If i Flash the newer Recovery, the one quoted by you above, will that make The Currently installed Rom process things faster?

The base Question being "Will a newer Recovery play a role in how fast the currently Flashed Rom is?"

PS: If you dont already know by now, you J@$$y, and the rest of the programmers, play a huge role in our day to day lives through how we communicate with others. And in speeding the process, allowing new features, and giving us a longer period to do so, I think i can say for a lot of people here.
From now until the end of all our contracts, Keep up the good work.

jassy - i <3 yur rom ;; only thing is I also have an issue with the user dictionary.

According to phone settings, the dictionary is empty and I am unable to add words; and when I'm typing with the on-screen keyboard, the only words that come up are the names of people in my contacts.

It's actually kinda funny . lmao . I ended up solving the problem by installing the gingerbread keyboard..just wanted to point it out for future reference.

    Thanksssssssss
